Act 5 is the shortest collectible stretch in the campaign, but it moves fast, and most pickups sit right next to a story beat that pulls you forward. The War Journal’s ACT 5 tab holds 12 tiles spread across four of the five chapters. Nine are grabbed in the levels, one arrives on its own when the credits begin, and one tile fills in without a fixed spot on the route.
Act 5 collectible count by chapter
Storm Clouds is spent entirely on the King Raven’s door gun, so it has no row in the journal and nothing to search. Everything else is listed below.
| Chapter | Name | Collectibles |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | One Problem at a Time | 1 |
| 2 | Ghost Town | 3 |
| 4 | Resolute | 5 |
| 5 | The Fall of Kalona | 3 |
| Total | 12 |
Open the War Journal to track what you have collected: choose COLLECTIBLES, then use LB / RB to reach ACT 5. A tally appears at the right of each chapter entry, for example, “RESOLUTE 2 / 5”. Collected items show an image and name; missing ones appear black beneath a padlock. Three rows take only a few minutes apiece to complete, but Resolute takes much longer, since its five items are scattered throughout the chapter.

Add to Google Preferences →One Problem at a Time: the single pickup after the train
The sole collectible is the COG Tags of Private Lorin Galvin. Pick them up at East Kostra Exchange Station after the train battle, during the objectives “Find a way back to Fort Vigil” and then “Enter the transfer station.”
Leave the train, then cross the gravel and nearby tracks to an overgrown nook. There, chained wooden pallets sit beside a brick wall. A fallen Gear is lodged high against the wall; search the weeds beneath it for the tags. Collect them before your squad advances, as the station battle begins as soon as it moves on.
Ghost Town: the rail depot, the hospital, and the apartment
Three collectibles sit at three separate points of the chapter, so clearing one does not mean the row is done.
COG Tags of Specialist Wallace Teale
As soon as you leave the train at the burning rail depot, check the elevated metal path alongside the tracks. A dead Gear is slumped beside a large cargo container streaked with blood, with the tags on the body. Pick them up immediately, before proceeding with the chapter.

Clinical Test Trial Medication
The route passes through the hospital marked by an emergency entrance. From the ground level, climb the stairwell to a waiting space furnished with green chairs in rows, drip stands, and a potted plant. At the end of a chair row, pill bottles rest atop a grey cabinet with drawers.
COG Tags of Master Sergeant Joseph Kopec
After climbing through the lift shaft inside the apartment building, make your way to the upper floor. Look in the corridor-side room beside the blasted opening: a dead Gear occupies a red armchair, facing a wooden desk with chairs stacked on top. The tags are with the body. The escape sequence urges you onward, but pause here rather than running past.

Resolute: five collectibles across the ship
This is the heavy chapter, with items scattered from the landing pad to the crane. Two of them sit in very dark recesses that are easy to run past.
COG Tags of Lieutenant Enola Tabaaha
Grab these at the very start, before meeting Michaelson. Go down the long metal stairs from the landing pad to the grated landing at the bottom, then into the dark dead-end recess off that landing. The tags lie on the floor under a yellow-and-black hazard-striped beam, beside a pipe housing and a crate under a yellow tarp. It is very dark in there.
Captain’s Log, CNV Resolute
Go through the door labeled SEC 21 into the control room where Michaelson delivers his update. On the wall-side metal shelves, check the central shelf for an open book. Search the room during the scene.

CNV Resolute Decommissioning Plans
While the objective is “Help Zee flood the dry-dock,” go through the doors Zee opens into the machinery hall. Locate the large tank marked “WATER SUPPLY” and crouch beneath it when the A prompt appears. A small workshop is tucked behind the tank. Its blue plans rest on a wooden workbench, beneath a pegboard holding wrenches and a saw, with a caged lamp illuminating them.
COG Tags of Lieutenant Arthur Palarmo
As you escort the group to the override hatch, go past the corridor filled with dead salvage crew and climb the ladder. At the top, enter the crate-filled alcove at the dead end. By a “STOP” sign, the tags lie on the floor in front of a roll-up shutter. The area is very dark as well.
Sketch of the Kalona Skyline
On the crane climb, with the objective “Climb to the top of the crane,” go up the stairs and ladders using the “X Climb” prompt. Near the top, before the lift, a railed corner of the platform looks out over the dock. The sketch sits on top of a metal equipment box there, next to a plate, a mug, and a radio.
The Fall of Kalona: the bridge pickup and the final two tiles
One tag is on the ground in the opening section. The row also lists the COG Tags of Sergeant Bryce Valen, but its pickup spot is not pinned down — it is not on the ground along the route, so treat its source as unconfirmed.
COG Tags of Sergeant Alton Hau
At the chapter’s beginning, stay on the bridge’s upper deck near the toll booth; do this before dropping to the lower level. On the roadway, look behind a burnt-out car’s rear end. The tags are beside a red barrier, opposite a “MILITARY ZONE” barricade.

Carlos Santiago’s COG Tags and Photo
There is nothing to find for this one. The toast “Carlos Santiago’s COG Tags and Photo Found!” appears on its own in the bottom-right corner when the credits begin, over the studio’s thank-you screen. Finishing the campaign is all it takes.
If you are still missing one
Check the journal to spot the collectible tile that remains locked; the chapter listed on that entry shows where to return. The four most easily missed are Galvin’s tags, hidden in a corner just before a battle; the medication, upstairs in a building you pass through; Tabaaha’s tags, in a dark nook during Resolute’s opening thirty seconds; and the decommissioning plans, concealed beyond a tank that requires you to duck underneath.
