With iOS 12, you can now add multiple faces to Face ID on your iPhone X. All thanks to a new option called Alternative Appearance under Face ID settings on iOS 12.
The alternative appearance feature is probably meant to add a second appearance of yourself to the Face ID. But as it turns out, you can add a whole new Face to your iPhone X’s Face ID using this new feature on iOS 12.
How to add multiple faces to Face ID on iPhone X
- Open Settings.
- Go to Face ID & Passcode settings.
- Scroll down a bit, and tap Set Up an Alternative Appearance.
- Register a second Face to your iPhone X.
