Adopt Me’s Halloween event reached its third week on October 16, 2026, and this time it moves to the Carnival. The Stitches’ Spotlight update adds a stealth-and-collect minigame inside a circus tent and four new pets: Stitches, Boohoo, the Shoebill, and the Copycat. It also brings a small batch of Candy Corn pet wear, a vehicle, a Mega Neon paint, and nine pieces of carnival furniture.
Quick answer: Play Stitches’ Spotlight to earn Candy Corn, then spend 70,000 of it on Stitches. Boohoo and the Shoebill also cost Candy Corn, and the Copycat costs 600 Robux.
Stitches’ Spotlight minigame rules
Stitches’ Spotlight is a timed round set inside a circus tent. When a match is about to begin, the game shows a prompt reading “Stitches’ Spotlight is starting soon! Teleport there now?” Choose Yes to join the queue. Each round runs for two minutes. During that time you circle the tent picking up Candy Corn while Stitches, a patchwork rabbit standing on a rotating pedestal, sweeps the arena with spotlights.
The catch is simple. If the spotlight lands on you, you lose every piece of Candy Corn you’ve picked up in that round. The rules that shape each match:
- Candy Corn spawns around the outer edge of the tent.
- The tent has an upper and a lower platform. Glowing blue launch pads move you between levels.
- Target boards block the spotlight, but Stitches knocks them down as the round goes on.
- A horseshoe magnet pickup increases your collection range.
- A runner pickup and a press-E speed boost both increase your movement speed.
When the timer runs out, a “GAME OVER!” screen shows the Candy Corn you kept, along with the match leaderboard. Rounds start again right away, so you can queue for another one from the lobby.
Treat target boards as short-term cover only. Once Stitches flattens them, you need to be on your way to another platform.

Stitches
Stitches is the minigame’s host. It is a limited pet that you can also adopt, and it hops around outside the Carnival. Its price is the steepest Candy Corn cost of the week, so expect to play a fair number of spotlight rounds before you can afford it. Stitches is also available from the Basic Egg and Crystal Egg through the Pet Releaser, for 400 and 4,000 tickets respectively.
Boohoo
Boohoo is a sad little poltergeist that was left behind among the Hotel’s forgotten luggage. You adopt it with Candy Corn. It also gets its own cosmetic, the Blue Boohoo Mega Neon Paint, which costs 49 Robux.
Shoebill
The Shoebill is tied to a short Hotel task called Lost Socks. The bird can’t get any rest because of the noisy guests down the hall. Talk to each guest and give them items from the Crypt so they settle in. Once every guest has calmed down, the Shoebill is ready to check out, and you can adopt it for Candy Corn.
Copycat
The Copycat sits in the Manor and is sold only for Robux. It has a built-in random Polymorph ability that turns it into any pet in the game. It works like the Polymorph Potion, so the result is pure chance. A Bat Dragon is possible, but nothing is guaranteed.

Carnival Coloring Giveaway: Neon Copycat prize
Alongside the update, Uplift Games is running a coloring contest in the official Discord. The prize is a Neon Copycat plus FR Potions, and entries close on Thursday, October 22. Winners will be announced inside the server.
