AION 2 Aullaeu Village Regional Quests: Every Elyos Quest (Verteron)

Aullaeu Village sits in the Verteron region and serves as the home base for a whole run of Elyos regional quests, most of them tangled up in Shugo merchant drama. The Shugo merchant guild questline

Across five quests, the aftermath of the Wind Breeze Merchants and the breakaway guild that emerges from them unfolds. Kochi’s careless dealings with the Astin Mercenaries lead to Shugo being kidnapped; those affected split off to create the Thunder Lightning Merchants, then encounter more trouble.

Forging a New Path (Level 30)

Forging a New Path comes from Kkokko near the Aullaeu Village Border, and you return it to Xiao in a cave beside the village. The angry Shugo kidnapped amid Kochi’s dealings assemble to seek compensation. Xiao, their spokesperson, chooses to establish an entirely new guild. “I’ll show you what a real guild master is, nyerk!” Xiao declares once you help put everything in place.

Head to the Aullaeu Village Border and join the assembly by talking to the Wind Breeze Merchants Member.

Calm the furious Shugo and talk to Xiao, who refuses to back down once Kochi denies any responsibility.

Collect the founding members’ consent forms by talking to Pai and Soso.

Deliver both signed forms back to Xiao to lock in the new guild.

Inspect the cave beside Aullaeu Village to make sure the planned headquarters is secure. Xiao gives the group the name Thunder Lightning Merchants and vows to pay dividends when it has grown.

Cursed Blue Mineral (Level 30)

Cursed Blue Mineral begins with Hiru at the Wind Breeze Merchants HQ and concludes with Bao outside Dodo’s Stolen Goods Stash. At Kochi’s Quarters, a hostage crisis unfolds: Dodo, a guild member who stole Fafnite to finance her retirement, has seized Kochi to secure her getaway. “You’re that famous Daeva, right?! Please help us!” Hiru pleads.

Talk to Hiru to get a read on the situation and who is involved.

Enter Kochi’s Quarters and free the hostage safely.

Go to Dodo’s Stolen Goods Stash and help Bao finish the job. Dodo is found knocked out by her own stolen Fafnite, which is destroyed before she is handed over to face justice.

Teething Problems (Level 45)

Teething Problems is assigned and completed with Kai at the Thunder Lightning Merchants HQ. Aullaeu stole a shipment from a courier working for the new guild, and the delivery deadline is drawing near. Recover it by defeating 15 Aullaeu Sentry and interacting with the Lost Delivery Items three times. Once the goods are recovered, Kai meets the deadline and the new guild keeps its reputation intact.

All Work and No Play (Level 45)

All Work and No Play is given and completed by Xiao, now the overworked guild master. In the push to out-hustle the Wind Breeze Merchants, Xiao’s merchants have run themselves into the ground, and a group sent out for product materials never came back. “With work, work, and more work!” is how Xiao sums up the business plan.

Find the missing merchants around Aullaeu Village and rescue the Fallen Shugo, the Unconscious Shugo, and the Exhausted Shugo.

Carry each of the three Shugo back and set them down safely.

Talk to Xiao so the guild doctor, Khura, can check the exhausted Shugo.

Gather the medicine ingredients by defeating 5 Tolbas Forest Lake Skyray and 10 Tolbas Kuru (Overseer, Tinkerer, and Worker) for Skyray meat and Kuru’s Draught.

Brew the Vitality Draught at the Firepit Cooking Station.

Talk to Khura to have the draught checked. Xiao finally takes a dose and gets some rest.

Names Lost in the Wind (Level 45)

Names Lost in the Wind is given by Fio at the Wind Breeze Merchants HQ and finished in the Southern Tolbas Forest. Fio is still grieving the guild members killed by the Astin Mercenaries and wants to honor them properly while making sure the culprits pay. “It won’t bring our dead back… but evildoers must be punished all the same, nyerk!” she says.

Collect the memorial flowers by interacting with the Spirit Flower three times.

Hunt down the remnants and defeat 15 Astin Mercenaries Scout.

Travel to the Southern Tolbas Forest where you agreed to meet Fio.

Talk to Fio to bring her up to speed.

At the memorial in the center, set down the flowers as someone reads each fallen Shugo’s name aloud.

Mino’s Spacetime Rift jobs

Two level 45 quests come from the Wind Breeze Merchant Mino, who has been poking around a rift beyond the Destroyed Abyss Gate. Both are accepted in Verteron, but the targets sit across the continent in Altgard, so you step through the rift to finish them and return to Mino afterward.

The Spacetime Rift opens in random spots at set times, and its location is marked on the map. Its appearance triggers a message broadcast to the entire server.

Spacetime Rift: Beautiful Carapace

Spacetime Rift: Beautiful Carapace is assigned by Mino, who is concealed near the rift, and completed with him back in Verteron. He needs glossy insect shells for jewelry, so defeat 9 Withered Branch Odyle Sparkie in Altgard and gather their carapaces. “Pretty and shiny things are always in demand, nyerk!” he insists, delighted by their glow when you return with them.

Spacetime Rift: Pure Plants

Spacetime Rift: Pure Plants is also given and turned in by Mino. This time he is chasing the clean, invigorating air on the far side of the rift and reckons the limbed plants there are the source. Defeat 9 Large Leaf Gravi in Altgard to gather their roots, and Mino, nose clearing, starts counting the Kina.

Nine Wonders of Verteron: 2nd Leg (Level 33)

Nine Wonders of Verteron: 2nd Leg picks up the sightseeing contest with Nevius, who hands it out on the Tolbas Forest Outskirts and takes the turn-in at Zumion Village. It is a scenery quest built around flight, pointing you at two of the region’s landmark views.

Take in the scenery at both the Aullaeu Funeral Island, a sky island between the clouds, and the Kraka Footpath along the cliff.

Take in the scenery for a while, then respond to Nevius’s Selvis call.

Go to Zumion Village and meet Nevius to wrap up this leg. He promises the next spot is below the Zumion Statue.

Side Effects of Transformation (Level 30)

Side Effects of Transformation is given and turned in at the Abandoned Wind Breeze Office by a Suspicious Aullaeu. He says he is a Dawn Legionnaire left in Aullaeu form by a failed transformation potion. To make an antidote, defeat 9 Aullaeu Forest Giant Sparkie and gather their Giant Sparkie Sap. Before setting off to cure himself, the legionnaire cautions you about using potions like this. “Just… be careful of side effects,” he adds, knowing you take on transformation work as well.

Completing any of these shows up the same way: the quest tracker clears and the giver’s reward dialogue plays when you hand it in at the listed NPC. Work through them alongside Verteron’s main story as you move up the recommended levels, and the combined payout covers a healthy chunk of the Kina, Daevanion Crystals, and accessories you will need for later gear requirements.
