The shop interface in AION 2 holds several storefronts, and they do not all work the same way. Some take Quna bought with real money, one hands out packaged bundles, and two more run entirely on Kina you earn in the field. Knowing which store does what saves you from spending the wrong currency on the wrong item.

Quick answer: AION 2 has five cash shops (Quna Shop, Atelier, Tsenka Merchant, Event Shop, A2 Mileage) plus two Kina-based special shops (Black Cloud Merchant and Wind Breeze Merchant).

Quna Shop

This is where real money enters the game. The Quna Shop sells Quna in several package sizes so you can match a purchase to your budget. Quna is the premium gemstone the Shugo Merchants value, and you spend it across the Atelier and parts of the Tsenka Merchant.

Quna bought here carries a 72-hour hold period. During that window it sits as Pending Quna and cannot be traded through the Exchange for Kina. Once the hold clears it becomes Paid Quna and can be used freely.

Atelier

The Atelier is the cosmetic store. It stocks skin sets for your character and pet, a selection of single-piece skins, wings, pets, and a range of emotes you can trigger while standing around other players. Everything here changes how you look rather than how you perform, and purchases run on Quna.

Tsenka Merchant

The Tsenka Merchant leans toward utility. It carries Resurrection Stones, keys for the game’s hidden cubes, and storage expansion vouchers. It also holds two account-level items: a Name Change Voucher for renaming a character, and the Atreian Pledge of Allegiance, which raises your character slot count. The store accepts both Quna and Kina depending on the item.

Event Shop

At global launch, the Event Shop has just one item for sale: the Season 1 Starter bundle. It contains the Bubblegum Skin, plus a Cube Expansion Voucher and keys for hidden cubes. Resurrection Stones and healing items are included, as are Scroll Buffs and Power Shards. The shop’s stock shifts with each event, so its offerings change over time.

A2 Mileage

A2 Mileage sells consumables and special items in the same vein as the other cash shops, but it does not take Quna or Kina directly. You pay with Mileage points, which accumulate when you spend real money on items or Quna. In practice it works as a loyalty return on purchases you have already made.

Black Cloud Merchant

The Black Cloud Merchant is a Kina-only store with stock that refreshes every hour. Its rotation covers skins, theostones, and pets. To reach it, open your shop tab and click the Black Cloud Merchant tab sitting just above the Atelier. Because the selection cycles, it is worth checking back across play sessions rather than once.

Wind Breeze Merchant

The Wind Breeze Merchant is the one-stop Kina store for crafting. It mirrors the stock of the NPC merchants, with the Command and Morph merchants being the two exceptions it does not cover. Alongside those materials it carries convenience items such as Resurrection Stones, Odyle Energy, Instant Clear Tickets, and Auto-Loot vouchers.

Prices are in Kina, and several items carry purchase caps. A sample of its convenience stock:

Kisk Summoning Stone: Personal100,000 Kina—

The Wind Breeze Merchant is locked behind the Special Quai Membership. Without an active membership you cannot open it, even though its goods cost only Kina.

Special Quai Membership and what it unlocks

The Special Quai Membership is account-wide and runs for 30 days. It gates several systems tied to the shops and trading, so it matters well beyond the Wind Breeze Merchant alone.

  • Access to Remote Storage and the Market
  • Access to the Quna Exchange and the Wind Breeze Merchants
  • Priority in the login queue
  • A higher Odyle Energy Cube Selection Count in Expedition, Transcendence, and Sanctuary
  • Max Odyle Energy storage raised to 840
  • Max Shugo Festival Reward Keys raised to 21

Put together, the storefronts split cleanly along one line. If a shop takes Quna or a bundle price, it draws on real money or Mileage earned from it. If it takes Kina, you can supply it through play, though the Wind Breeze Merchant still needs the membership switched on first. Checking the currency label before you confirm a purchase is the simplest way to avoid spending something you did not mean to.
