In AION 2, Enhance Stones are needed for nearly all equipment upgrades. Along with Kina, they raise a weapon, armor piece, or accessory’s enhancement level, improving its stats and your total Gear Score. Higher-rarity items demand far more stones, quickly draining the supply you collected while leveling by mid-game and making targeted farming necessary. Below are the sources ranked from fastest onward, including runs that also build up Amplify Stones for endgame Unique gear.
Quick answer: For daily stones, enter the Daeva Bio-Research Base dungeon; a clear can yield up to 10,000. Defeat all four bosses at 100 percent, farm Silent Graveyard for 18 percent per kill, and extract extra gear and wings.
How many Enhance Stones you actually need
In the Growth menu, spend a stone and Kina to add one enhancement level. Success is assured through +10. Above +10, a failed upgrade consumes the stones and Kina you put in without changing the item’s level; it does, however, boost the chance of success on your next try by 5 percent. Most of your supply goes toward reaching +10, and rarer items require substantially more.
| Rarity | Enhance Stones to +10 |
|---|---|
| Rare | 9,280 |
| Epic | 63,060 |
| Unique | 200,980 |
On top of those totals, every attempt uses Kina too, so set aside enough gold before beginning a long upgrade session. You can also combine Enhance Stones and Power Shards through Substance Morph to create Superior Power Shards, meaning late-game shard upgrades draw from this same supply.
Extract a weapon after raising it to +10 to get back the stones used for those upgrades. That makes a later switch to stronger gear much less costly than it may seem.

Add to Google Preferences →Claim the free launch stones first
Before settling into farming, claim the bundles available through several offers that run for a limited time and provide far more than most single dungeon clears. Each offer is still available.
| Source | Enhance Stones | Window |
|---|---|---|
| Daeva Pass, free track | 48,000 (2,000 × 24 levels) | Until December 15 |
| Daeva Pass, Premium track | 120,000 (5,000 × 24 levels) | Requires Quna |
| Twitch Drops, launch round | 5,000 (Bound), 3 hours watched | Through October 16 |
| Transcendence leaderboard | 35,000 top 10 / 12,000 places 11–50 | Until November 2 |
Build your Daeva Pass EXP through regional quests, attendance, Expeditions, the Shugo Festival, and Transcendence—all part of a normal play routine. To receive the Twitch reward, connect Twitch to the Steam or PURPLE account you use, watch an AION 2 channel for three hours, and claim it via the official Twitch Drops notice. Pass stones and Twitch stones are account-bound, so confirm that before making transfer plans. The Transcendence leaderboard is ranked by server and class.
Daeva Bio-Research Base: the repeatable daily
This is the dependable daily dungeon to revisit. It becomes available from level 30, and each account gets 14 entries per week; entries reset on Wednesdays. The enemies you defeat determine your Odyle Point total. For every 100 points, you receive 100 stones, with a 10,000-stone maximum; a clean Stage 1 run yields about 9,000. Rewards vary: characters too weak to one-shot mobs earn much less, with 3,000 to 4,000 typical early on.
Endgame sources at level 45 and up
At level cap, you can add several other stone sources to your daily dungeon run, and fit them all into one session.
| Source | Enhance Stones |
|---|---|
| Daily Dungeons | Up to 10,000 per run |
| Ascension Trials | Up to 3,500 per clear |
| Transcendence | 2,000 per boss |
| Dimensional Invasion | 700+ per cube (~2,000 for three) |
| Sealed Dungeons | 1,200–2,500 (one-time) |
| Shugo Festival | 1,200 per minigame |
| Expeditions | 1,000 per boss |
| Abyss Supply Requests | 100–1,500 per delivery |
| Duty missions | Up to 1,000 (random) |
| Substance Morph | 100 per spare Clash Rune scroll |
At Lv. 45, you can enter these Ascension Trials: Nightmare Altar, Tyrant’s Hideout, Sanctum of Loathing, Depository of Fates, Forgotten Repository, and Chamber of the Dead. Rewards reach 3,500 per trial across its difficulties. Each Transcendence boss kill grants 2,000 stones, Soul Codex, Silentium, and Kina, while also adding to the launch leaderboard. After a Dimensional Invasion, each Monster Cube holds at least 700 stones; opening three yields about 2,000, along with other materials. Sealed Dungeons pay out a single time, even those in rival-faction territory, so finish any within reach. Cross factions through the purple rift shown on your faction map; it appears every three hours and returns you after one hour.
Bosses that drop Enhance Stones every time
Each of the four named bosses guarantees an Enhance Stone when defeated and comes in three level brackets. Your character’s level determines the bracket you encounter, while every bracket retains a 100 percent drop rate, making these a particularly reliable source.
| Boss | Levels | Drop rate |
|---|---|---|
| 22, 45, 70 | 100% | |
| 30, 54, 72 | 100% | |
| 37, 63, 74 | 100% | |
| 45, 70 | 100% |
The Silent Graveyard 18 percent route
For open-field farming, go to Silent Graveyard, which has the densest concentration of Enhance Stone spawns. Each of its six enemy types has an 18 percent drop chance per kill, and tightly packed spawn points minimize downtime. Use area attacks on nearby groups, then move on to the next cluster instead of focusing on a single enemy.
| Enemy | Spawn points | Drop rate |
|---|---|---|
| 168 | 18% | |
| Daeva Knight’s Soul | 153 | 18% |
| Hungry Dead | 150 (+12 in Altgard) | 18% |
| Withered Spider | 132 | 18% |
| 111 (+22 in Altgard) | 18% | |
| 23 (+117 in Altgard) | 18% |
Enhance Stones are also listed among the drops in the party dungeons Deus Research Base and Shattered Arkanis. Their stages share Gear Score requirements of 1,600, 1,900, 2,200, and 2,500. Both dungeons can also reward Soul Codex, Silentium, Manastones, and Soulstones.
Extract spare gear and wings
Item Extraction is a dependable early supply. Leveling upgrades leave you with surplus gear, and breaking it down both clears your Cube and returns stones plus the item’s transmog skin.

Keep Field Boss equipment out of the extractor. Hold it for Regular: Boss Supply Requests, which pay a large batch of Abyss Points instead.
Upgrading high-tier weapons and armor raises stone costs beyond the supply from extra gear. Extraction alone won’t cover your needs in the mid-to-late game.
Chests and the Abyss Point shop
Enhance Stones also come out of the Enhance Stone Chest (Bound) and the Lesser, Intermediate, and Superior Rift Bundles (Bound). The Conquest Gear Chest [★★★] (Bound) requires level 45, lets you pick gear from the Fire Temple and Ferocious Horn Den sets, and includes Enhance Stones with the gear. The Abyss Point shop sells the stones for 4,000 Abyss Points each, and they cannot be traded.
Farming Amplify Stones on the same runs
Amplify Stones are never dropped whole. You collect the Amplify Stone Fragment (Unique) (Bound) and combine fragments into a full stone later, which then unlocks a maxed-out Unique item’s hidden power and pushes it past its usual cap. The best per-kill chances come from one raid boss and the three Draupnir bosses.
| Boss | Location | Drop rate |
|---|---|---|
| Abyssal Forge: Ludra raid | 100% | |
| Draupnir: Bakarma’s Subspace | 99.9% | |
| Draupnir: Phantasmal Sky | 99.9% | |
| Draupnir: Unknown Abyss | 99.8% |
The Abyssal Forge: Ludra raid is temporarily absent from the launch build, and its return date has not been announced. For now, the three Draupnir bosses are the dependable way to gather fragments. While Draupnir is on cooldown, you can farm a broader selection of dungeon bosses; each has a 20 percent chance to drop the same Unique fragment.
| Dungeon | Boss level | Players |
|---|---|---|
| Urugugu Canyon | 30 | 2–5 |
| Vakron Sky Island | 54 | 2–5 |
| Ferocious Horn Den | 63 | 1–5 |
| Deus Research Base | 45 | 2–4 / 2–5 |
| Shattered Arkanis | 56 | 2–4 / 2–5 |
| Krao Cave | 45 | 2–5 |
| Fire Temple | — | party |
Deus Research Base, Shattered Arkanis, and Vakron Sky Island provide both materials in one run, since each also yields Enhance Stones. Ferocious Horn Den is the only one of these you can run solo. Guardian Captain Raur can also be found roaming the open field in Urugugu Village; his chance is likewise 20 percent, so you can gather fragments without queuing for a dungeon.
Access Substance Morph through the menu or by pressing Alt + H, then convert your gathered fragments into stones. A Unique fragment yields an Amplify Stone; a Heroic fragment creates a Splendent Amplify Stone. The storage limit is 1,000 fragments of each type, so save them until you want to morph. You can buy a Unique fragment for 2,000 Abyss Points, or get a Heroic fragment for 2,000 Phantasmal Fragment in the Nightmare Shop.

Checking that it worked
Once extraction is complete, the Enhance Stones appear in your inventory and the item is removed from your Cube. A successful upgrade increases the plus value in the Growth window and raises the stats shown there. If an attempt above +10 fails, the level stays the same and the next attempt gains 5 percent, making further tries on that item progressively easier. Finishing Substance Morph puts the resulting Amplify Stone in your inventory. Invest in gear you expect to keep using, reserve enough Kina for each attempt, and rely on the daily dungeon and Silent Graveyard loop for regular income; event and daily rewards can cover the shortfall.
