Where Silent Dartan spawns
Silent Dartan exists as two matching versions that share the same level, rank, and loot. The Elyos version carries the title Verteron Inspector and the Asmodian version carries the title Altgard Overseer. Both are a Cogni-type creature, both are aggressive, and both are level 48 Hero.

On the Verteron side, the boss stands east of the Aullaeu Village Valley Kibelisk, in a grassy stretch toward the west of Southern Altamia Highland. It uses ranged attacks and will pull nearby mobs into the fight, so bring a party and clear the area before you engage.

Dartan’s Loot Chest (Bound) is the one guaranteed item, so you leave each fight with something no matter what. The nine Dartan gear pieces and the three crafting stones roll on their own chances. Lesser Manastone can also drop; its rate is not listed in the reward table.

The Dartan gear set and what it is for
All nine Dartan pieces are Unique, tier 2, item level 46, and usable from character level 40. Each one carries four manastone slots and can be enchanted up to +15. They can be traded until you equip and soulbind them, so an extra drop can go to a party member or the broker.

The seven armor pieces are built around survival, stacking HP and Defense, with the Dartan Breastplate carrying the biggest numbers. Enchanting an armor piece to +15 adds Defense +199 and HP +163 on top of its base values. The two accessories lean the other way: both the Dartan Earrings and Dartan Ring provide Attack, and at +15 each gains Attack +38 and Defense +97. Taken together, the set suits a level-40 character filling out defensive slots before moving into higher-tier content.
Crafting stones, manastones, and the Pantheon artwork
The three Refining Stones are crafting materials. Refining Stone is the common one, usable from level 15 and the most frequent drop at 46.7%. Expert’s Refining Stone is the Rare tier, usable from level 25. Artisan’s Refining Stone is the Epic tier, usable from level 35 and the rarest of the stones here at 5.8%.
Lesser Manastone fits into the manastone slots of weapons and armor, adding a stat whose type and amount are random. This common, low-value item quickly piles up from repeated kills.
Artwork: Silent Dartan drops at 25% and is a Pantheon decoration rather than a combat item. Placing it in your Pantheon applies the effect tied to the frame. It stacks up to 1,000 and can be traded, which makes the 25% rate worth noting for collectors.
First-kill achievement reward
Defeating Silent Dartan counts toward a field-boss achievement. Clearing it grants the title Executioner of Silent Dartan, a Superior Manastone (Bound), and 7,000 bound Kina. You will see the achievement pop and the title appear in your collection once the boss goes down.
Collecting Empyrean Traces near the Altgard spawn
An Altgard fight at Basfelt Ruins is a good reason to search the nearby area too. Silent Hill, a sub-region of Altgard, contains 11 Empyrean Traces; each grants Empyrean Trace: Altgard (Bound). The fourth pickup awards the Traces Left in Altgard II achievement.
Most traces sit at ground level across the rocky fields and woodland, so you can run between them. A couple near the tall ruined pillars need your gliding wings to reach the higher ledges.
With the drop table and spawn points settled, a few runs at either the Verteron or Altgard spawn will steadily fill out the Dartan armor pieces and stock you up on Refining Stones for crafting.
