For travel in AION 2, keep plenty of both bound scrolls on hand. Return Scroll (Bound) takes you back to the closest Kibelisk you’ve activated, while Hall Return Scroll (Bound) transports you to your Legion Hall; both cost little.

Quick answer: Buy both scrolls from any General Goods Merchant for 1,000 Kina each, listed under the shop’s Miscellaneous tab. The same two scrolls are also available from the main-menu Shop at the same price.

What each scroll does

Both are Common teleport scrolls usable from level 1, and both carry a 10-minute reuse timer shown on the in-game tooltip. Neither can be traded to other players.

How to buy the scrolls from a General Goods Merchant

Travel to a settlement or camp that has a General Goods Merchant. In Verteron, the Dawn Legion Base is a reliable stop since it sits at the main starting area, and larger settlements like Tolbas Village are marked on the map too.

Scroll down the purchase list to the Miscellaneous tab and find Return Scroll (Bound) and Hall Return Scroll (Bound). Set the quantity you want and confirm at 1,000 Kina per scroll.

Once the purchase goes through, the scrolls appear in your inventory and are ready to use. The same two items also show up if you open the Shop from the main menu, priced identically at 1,000 Kina.

General Goods Merchant locations by region

General Goods Merchants appear in multiple spots across each region, so you rarely need to travel far to restock. These are the confirmed stations and camps where you will find one.

Activate a Kibelisk before using a Return Scroll

A Return Scroll only works if you have an activated Kibelisk to return to, so interact with these waypoints as you explore. Activating one for the first time also pays out Kina, which helps cover the cost of the scrolls themselves.

Return Scroll (Bound) item details and free sources

If you would rather not spend Kina, early campaign quests hand Return Scrolls to you directly. The Dawn Legion episode quest in Verteron rewards 20 of them, and Making Yourself Useful, Prepare to Escape, and Finding Nemon also grant copies as you progress.

Several reward boxes contain them as well, including the Daeva’s Campaign Supply Chest (Bound), the Daeva’s Chest of Vows, the Pre-registration: Supply Chest, and the Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate Founder’s Packs.

  • Required level: 1
  • Grade: Common
  • Sell price: 10 Kina
  • Trade: cannot be traded

Because both scrolls are bound and so inexpensive, the simplest routine is to buy a stack at whichever General Goods Merchant you pass and lean on quest rewards to top up during the early story. Keep at least one Kibelisk activated in your current region and a Hall Return Scroll on hand, and you can cut most of the running around out of day-to-day play.
