Seeds drive everything in Grow a Garden 2. You plant them, wait for them to mature, harvest the fruit for Sheckles, and pour that money into rarer crops that sell for far more. Some plants do double duty as garden defense, biting or zapping anyone who wanders in to steal your harvest. The Roblox sequel launched on June 12, 2026, and its seed roster runs from a 1-Sheckle Carrot all the way up to nine-figure Super-rarity flowers.

Quick answer: Buy seeds from Sam’s Seed Shop in the center of the map (it restocks every five minutes), roll the paid Ghost Pepper Pack for five exclusive plants, redeem codes, send a Robin pet digging for random seeds, or grab gold and rainbow seeds that randomly rain onto the server.

The Seed Shop sits in the middle of the server. Click “Seeds” at the top of the screen to teleport there, talk to the NPC, and buy whatever is in stock. Common seeds reappear almost every restock, while higher rarities show up far less often. The Super-tier flowers can stay out of stock for a long time, so keep checking. Here is the full purchasable lineup with prices, rarities, and whether each crop keeps producing after the first pick.

Restock chances drop sharply as rarity climbs. Carrot, Strawberry, and Blueberry effectively show up every cycle, while the Super-tier Moon Bloom and Dragon’s Breath sit below a 0.4% chance to appear on any given restock. That is why most players never buy their first Super seed and instead aim for the cheaper Epic and Legendary crops to build a steady income.

Ghost Pepper Pack seeds

Five plants never appear in the shop. They only come out of the Ghost Pepper Pack, a paid seed pack you reach through the red cart store icon in the top bar. Each pull rolls one plant from the pack’s pool, and the headline prize is the Mythic Ghost Pepper at a 1% drop rate. Glow Mushroom and Poison Ivy are the more realistic pulls for the money.

Roll prices start around 99 Robux for a single pull and scale up to roughly 4,449 Robux for 50 rolls. At a 1% rate, Ghost Pepper itself is genuinely rare, so plan your Robux budget before committing to a big batch.

Other ways to get seeds

The shop is the main supply line, but it isn’t the only one. A few seeds can drop into your inventory for free or at random, which is handy when you can’t afford the high-rarity crops yet.

SourceWhat you get
CodesThe “TEAMGREENBEAN” code grants the Epic Green Bean seed directly.
Robin petThis Legendary bird occasionally digs up a random Seed Shop plant. It costs 75,000 Sheckles when it appears on the map.
Gold and rainbow seedsWeather can randomly rain gold or rainbow seeds onto the server. Run to them and press E to collect. Planting one grows a random shop crop worth far more than usual.
Event shopsNew seed packs can rotate into limited-time event shops, so grinding events is worth it for fresh seeds.

Multiple gold and rainbow seeds drop at once, so you can grab a handful in a single event. Watch your back while collecting, though, since other players can knock you down with gear and snatch the drops before you reach them.

Plants that defend your garden

Stealing is a core mechanic this time, so a few crops earn their spot by guarding your plot instead of just selling well. Plant these near your most valuable produce to punish intruders.

PlantDefensive effect
Venus Fly TrapBites players who enter your plot, cutting their health by 75%, stealing some Sheckles, and even eliminating them.
CactusPricks players who brush against it and reduces their health.
Dragon’s BreathFires at players trying to steal, draining their HP and making them drop Sheckles when they fall.
Venom SpitterBuilt for defense while still earning a respectable amount of money.

Single-harvest vs. multi-harvest, and when to hold

Single-harvest plants give one payout and then need replanting. Multi-harvest crops keep producing after each pick, which is why Strawberries and Blueberries are the early backbone of any garden. Stack as many multi-harvest plants as your plot allows so you aren’t constantly resowing.

Once you reach Epic crops and above, the math flips. Leaving a mature plant in the ground lets mutations stack, and a mutated Legendary or Mythic plant can sell for several times its base value. The trade-off is risk, since an unharvested plot is a target for thieves at night. For early Common and Uncommon crops, harvest immediately and reinvest. For high-rarity plants, patience pays.

A clean climb looks like this. Start with Carrots, shift into Strawberries and Blueberries for a Sheckle buffer, then move up through Tomato and Bamboo before pushing into Mushroom and the rest of the Epic tier. Dragon Fruit at 120K is cheaper than Mango despite being a higher rarity, making it a smart Legendary entry point. After that, Acorn, Cherry, and Sunflower follow while you wait for the Mythic and Super seeds to finally appear in stock.
