All Star Tower Defense: How to Find the Prestige NPC

The exact World 1 route to Airren, the level you need to wish, and what each of the three wishes gives you.

The exact World 1 route to Airren, the level you need to wish, and what each of the three wishes gives you.

Prestige in All Star Tower Defense is gated behind a single NPC, and he is not standing anywhere near the main spawn crowd. You trade player levels for a “wish,” and the only way to make that trade is to walk up to Airren in World 1 and open his PATHS menu. Most players who say they cannot find prestige are either in the wrong world or looking at ground level instead of up.

Quick answer: Load into World 1, run past the Summon portal courtyard toward the cliffs, climb to the summit of the tallest mountain beside the World 2 portal, and click the NPC standing behind the house up there to open the PATHS menu.

Prestige NPC location in World 1

Airren only exists in World 1. Travelling to World 2 or later maps removes the option entirely, so the first thing to check is which lobby you are actually standing in. He sits at the top of the rocky area behind the village, near the World 2 portal arch, tucked behind one of the elevated buildings.

Spawn into World 1 and turn so the Summon portal and the open courtyard are in front of you. This is your anchor point for the whole route.

Run past the Story and event portal area toward the rocky cliffs behind the village structures. Keep the houses on your side rather than cutting across the middle of the map.

Jump up the rock ledges and the green hillside until you reach the grassy plateau overlooking the town. The climb is a series of small ledges, not one big jump, so take it in stages.
Walk around to the back of the house on the summit. Airren is the black-haired NPC in a dark robe, and clicking him opens the PATHS window.

Note: the NPC has moved before. In the older lobby layout he was seated on a wooden bench rather than standing behind a building on the mountain, which is why some older directions send you to the wrong spot.

Level requirement to wish, and the levels you lose

Prestige costs player levels. The PATHS menu spells this out with two numbers, REQUIRED LEVEL TO WISH and LEVEL POST WISH, so you always see the exact level you will drop to before you commit. Your first wish unlocks in the high 80s, and every wish after that raises the bar.

You can prestige seven times in total. Once the seventh wish is done, the NPC has nothing left to offer you.

The three wishes: Relic, Riches, and Power

Pressing WISH teleports you into the Paths realm, a small area built around a central pillar of light. Three options appear there, and the one you pick decides the reward.

WishReward
RelicSuper Blueeye Orb, usable on all units
Riches10,000 Gems, 500 Stardust, 10,000 Gold
PowerOne unit per prestige, in a fixed order: Kura (Origami), Super God T (Hero), Jokato Koju (ASCENDED), Tony Stark (Beyond), Zaruto (Alternative)

Relic and Riches can each be taken only once across your seven prestiges. Power is the repeatable option, handing out the next unit in that order every time you choose it. Take the orb on your first wish, grab the currency on your second, and spend the rest on units — that is the order most players settle on.

Tip: read the wish names carefully before clicking. Picking Relic a second time has left some players with an orb template that cannot be used on anything.

How to confirm the prestige went through

After you choose a wish, an animation plays and the game teleports you back to the lobby. Three things should have changed. Your player level now matches the LEVEL POST WISH number you saw in the PATHS menu, the reward is sitting in your inventory, and talking to Airren again shows the next prestige threshold instead of the one you just cleared.

Open the Inventory from the lobby buttons to check. A Relic wish adds the Super Blueeye Orb, a Power wish adds the unit for that step of the order, and a Riches wish shows up as a jump in your Gems, Gold, and Stardust counters.

Why the WISH button does nothing

  • You are below the REQUIRED LEVEL TO WISH shown in the menu.
  • You are not in World 1. The prestige NPC does not exist in any other world.
  • You have already used all seven prestiges.
  • You are trying to take Relic or Riches a second time.

The prestige system arrived in Update 30.2, and the climb behind the Summon portal has stayed the constant since the map revamp shuffled the NPC’s exact perch. If you have levelled well past the threshold and are only now going looking for him, nothing is lost — the menu simply shows a higher required level and a higher post-wish level, and the reward list is the same.
