The three Large Starines that A Fragrant Journey asks for are all tucked inside the Nest of Stars, a Celestis-only outpost in the Forest of Falling Stars. None of them are hidden outside the cave, and none of them drop from combat. Two are straight pickups, and the third belongs to a Celestis who will not hand it over until you pay him.
Quick answer: Two Large Starines sit inside the outpost — one in a hollow log, one in a rock alcove — and the third comes from trading Dum-Dum 10 regular Starines.
Get into the Nest of Stars in Celestis form first
The Nest of Stars is a glowing cave in the Forest of Falling Stars, part of the Breezy Plains region. The area covers levels 20 to 25 and holds 47 chests, 5 Lumin Amber, 2 Blooms and 2 transporters, so it is worth clearing other objectives while you are down here.
Perfumer Dael waits outside the cave entrance and starts the quest. Track A Fragrant Journey: Forest of Falling Stars from the Journey tab and follow the green marker rather than the regional map pin, since the nearby Lumin Marking is not where she stands.
A barrier blocks humans and non-Celestis Aniimo at the entrance, and climbing over the roof or squeezing through cracks just teleports you back outside. Put a Celestis in your active party and twine with it, then walk straight in. If you released the one from the tutorial, wild Celestis around level 20 spawn in the flower beds by the cave, and an Aniipod on one of them is enough — catching a high-level Celestis is fine because its level is capped in your party.

Twinkle meets you in front of the big tree and explains what the nests want. The order does not matter, so grab the two free ones first and handle the trade last.

Large Starine 1: Hollow log next to the tree
Head right from the entrance and look inside the fallen trunk. A chest sits in the same log and shares the same interact button, so it is easy to loot the chest, walk away and leave the Large Starine behind. Check the log is empty before you move on.
Large Starine 2: Rock alcove along the side path
From that log, follow the narrow path cut into the rock. It loops around past several piles of small Starines on the floor — those are the regular ones, and you will want them later. The Large Starine is wedged in an alcove at the end of the path, next to a sleeping Celestis.
Large Starine 3: Dum-Dum’s trade for 10 Starines
Place the Large Starines in the nests and check for 3/3
Return to the three woven nests under the central tree and interact with them. The Deliver Items window opens with the Large Starine requirement and a running count of how many you own, so you can use it at any point to confirm you are in the right spot.
Choose Insert large Starine, submit all three, and confirm. The counter flips to 3/3, which is your confirmation that the collection stage is done. A cutscene plays as a Stellarys appears above the nests and Starines rain down from the cave ceiling.
Regular Starines and Large Starines are separate items. If the count is not moving, you are almost certainly submitting the small ones.
Talk to Twinkle and collect the Treasured Large Starine
Once the event ends, locate Twinkle nearby. When he asks if Starry has returned, choose I saw a Stellarys. Choosing It might’ve been him leaves the quest unchanged.
Three separate interactions open up around the nests — a regular Starine, a gold chest, and the Treasured Large Starine. The reward pop-ups stack quickly, so watch the interact prompts on the objects themselves rather than the notification feed. The Treasured Large Starine is the one that matters.
Carry it back across the stream to Dael and select the option to hand it over, confirming the 1/1 submission. She turns it into a perfume called Peace of Mind and then relocates. The quest clears from the Journey tracker and the Peace of Mind reward panel appears, which is how you know it is finished.

The Nest of Stars gold chest has its own reward: 200 EXP, 50 Glimmer, an Aniipod Ultra Voucher, 500 Credits, and a Common Carried Item Core. Separately, the Nest of Stars Lumin Marking awards Credits, Flux Shards, Growth Fruit, Aniipods, a Common Carried Item Core, and Growth Buds.
If the nest prompt or the final hand-in does not work
- In the Journey tab, select A Fragrant Journey: Forest of Falling Stars and make it the active quest.
- Track the quest again, then navigate using the green destination marker rather than the regional map pin.
- Make sure you entered the Nest of Stars while in Celestis form.
- Inside the cave, stand by three woven nests located below the central tree, not at another spot.
- If Dum-Dum says you are short, gather more regular Starines before retrying the trade.
- If Dael refuses the hand-in, confirm you actually picked up the Treasured Large Starine after the event.
Nothing forces you out of the cave once Dael has her perfume, and the Nest of Stars is dense with side content. Interacting with the Celestis there feeds Family Research, and the surrounding chests, ecological points and the local Lumin collection are all a short walk from the tree.
