The Aniimo Companions category sits inside the Ecological Investigation menu of the Aniimo Discovery event, and it asks you to put the new Lightning support Dazmand through a short series of combat actions. All four tasks are cleared by using Dazmand’s skills a handful of times and firing off its Ultimate once, so a single fight is usually enough.

You need Dazmand caught and placed in your active party so you can switch to it in the field. The four Aniimo Companions tasks and rewards
The category tracks four separate objectives. Casting five skills automatically clears the 1-use and 3-use steps along the way, so the only two things you actively need to remember are hitting five skill uses total and casting the Ultimate at least once.

Dazmand’s trait, Spotlight Moment, makes the first skill it uses within five seconds of entering battle cost no EP, so switching in and immediately casting saves resources while you rack up uses.
Claim the rewards and confirm completion
You know the category is done when the Aniimo Companions counter reads 4/4, each task is marked “Claimed,” and the milestone reward shows as collected with an “Item Obtained” confirmation. Once that is in place, the Aniimo Companions portion of the Ecological Investigation is finished and needs no further attention during the event.
