Everything you dig up inside Operation: Egg Heist falls into a handful of jobs. Some of it is pure money you sell at the boat, some of it hatches into an Aniimo, and some of it is the gear and chips that only exist inside the mode and never leave it. Knowing which pile a pickup belongs in is how you decide what to carry home under a 72 kg weight cap and what to leave on the floor.
Quick answer: Egg Heist items split four ways. Ancient Relics are sold for Eggshell Coins, eggs are hatched for Umbral and Prismana Aniimo, mode-only gear and chips are equipped for the run, and Blue, Purple and Gold Essences are spent on the permanent talent tree.

Ancient Relics are your Eggshell Coins
Ancient Relics make up the biggest pickup category: gems, ores, plants, and decorative objects found in treasure chests throughout the Lost Isles and within the Lost Sanctum. They have no use in combat. Sell them for Eggshell Coins, the currency used to buy almost everything else in the mode. To exchange them, open your inventory and press Sell in its lower-right corner.
Relics come in every rarity, so check a pickup’s value on the ground before it takes up a backpack slot and adds to your weight. Epic- and Legendary-grade salvage can bring in thousands, but grey junk eats up space and carry capacity. The Jade-Inlaid Ritual Vessel, an Epic pickup tagged to the mode, sells for 10,528 Eggshell Coins by itself.
The list of relics is long and includes gems like Prismana Diamond, Prismana Chalcedony, Imperial Jade, Obsidian, Cinnabar, Green Cat’s Eye and Phosphophyllite; ores such as Gold Ore, Mithril Ore, Wood Tin and the various Fine and Rough ores; Vein-nurtured plants like the Prismana Orchid, Prismatic Rose, Ice Lily and Nepenthe Lily; and ancient craftwork such as the Golden Cane, Emerald Signet Ring, Ruby Necklace and the Gold- and Jade-Inlaid Ritual Vessels.

Add to Google Preferences →Eggs and Prismana Shell Shards
Eggs are the prize you came for. You hatch them at the Outpost Hatchinator or the Home Hatchinator back at base, and several of them leave behind Prismana Shell Shards during hatching.
- Mysterious Prismana Egg — hatched at the Outpost or Home Hatchinator. Sold at the Hot shop for 400,000 Eggshell Coin plus 200 Prismana Shell Shard.
- Incredible Ruins Aniimo Egg — residual Prismana energy from hatching coalesces into 2 Prismana Shell Shards.
- Ruins Aniimo Egg — hatching leaves 1 Prismana Shell Shard.
A Prismana Shell Shard is worth keeping: this eggshell fragment contains Prismana energy. Gather enough, then trade them at the Egg Heist Shop for a Prismana Aniimo Egg.
Chaos Ticket and Arena Ticket
Two tickets serve as mode currency. The Arena Ticket is consumed to begin a run. The Chaos Ticket confirms a successful Team Mode evacuation and can be redeemed at a Lumintech Shop for supplies and eggs. You can also find the Chaos Ticket in the Hot shop for 20,000 Eggshell Coin.

Attack Amplifiers and Protective Units
Your gear matters throughout the run: every Pathfinder is set to level 60 in this mode, so the build you worked on all week has no effect. Take an Attack Amplifier for offense and a Protective Unit for defense, fitting each with chips. Both have durability bars that deplete during combat.
| Piece | Grade | Damage Amp / Reduction | Sockets |
|---|---|---|---|
| Attack Amplifier | Uncommon | 20% Amp | None |
| Attack Amplifier – Might / Exploration / Tactics | Rare | 40% Amp | 1 |
| Attack Amplifier – BREAK | Epic | 60% Amp | 3 Damage |
| Protective Unit | Uncommon | 10% Reduction | None |
| Protective Unit – Defense / Endurance / Exploration | Epic | 70% Reduction | 2-3 |
Within a grade every piece shares the same Damage Amp or Damage Reduction figure, so the socket layout is the real difference. The naming tells you what each variant leans toward. An Exploration piece favors Resistance sockets for carry capacity, Might favors Damage, Tactics opens a Skills socket, and the Epic BREAK amplifier is the one sub-Legendary piece with three Damage sockets.
The standard Attack Amplifier and Protective Unit each cost 10,000 Eggshell Coin at the Hot shop. At the Black Market, the Protective Unit – Exploration costs 100,000 Eggshell Coin and has a purchase limit of 1.
If you faint during a run, you lose your backpack and its contents, plus both equipped pieces and any chips still socketed in them. Your next attempt starts with only a bare Default Backpack with four slots, so avoid bringing gear you cannot afford to lose.
Keys for locked rooms
Three keys open the barred chambers that hide chests and whole side rooms. Each one matches a difficulty tier, and all three can drop during runs or be bought from the Black Market. Park a spare in the Egg Boat Safe and pull it out at the locked door, since Safe items cannot be used until you move them into your bag.
| Key | Opens | Black Market price |
|---|---|---|
| Beginner Sanctums | 20,000 Eggshell Coin | |
| Hard Sanctums | 80,000 Eggshell Coin | |
| Chaos and Nightmare Sanctums | 150,000 Eggshell Coin |
Backpacks and the weight cap
Your backpack determines the number of items you can extract. You begin with a free four-slot default bag and can buy upgrades with Eggshell Coins as you earn them. Slot count isn’t the only limit: the carry cap is 72 kg. At 73 kg, you cannot move, so check your load before heading back to the boat.
| Backpack | Slots | Price |
|---|---|---|
| 4 | Free | |
| 10 | 1,000 Eggshell Coin | |
| 14 | 30,000 Eggshell Coin | |
| 18 | 60,000 Eggshell Coin | |
| Heavy Duty Backpack | 22 | 200,000 Eggshell Coin |
Chips and energy stones
Chips can only be fitted to the amplifier or the unit. Each chip works with its corresponding slot type, so the sockets on those two pieces determine what you can equip. Together, they have six slot types.
- Damage (Amplifier) — Damage Amp +5% to +15%, or armor penetration.
- Resistance (Amplifier) — Load +2 to +4.
- Skills (Amplifier) — one active ability: Blink, Heal, Weaken, Lighting or Boost.
- Protection (Unit) — Damage Reduction +5% to +15%.
- Load Expansion (Unit) — Load +2 to +4.
- Vigor (Unit) — Stamina recovery speed +9% to +15%.
Each of the five skill chips uses the one Skills socket, which means an amplifier can have only one active ability. Heal ends immediately when you take a hit, while Blink and Boost are the options that help you escape a room.
Energy stones refill a drained piece at the cost of durability. Pulse Energy Stones repair the Attack Amplifier, and Harmonic Energy Stones repair the Protective Unit. Both come in grades from Experimental up to High-Grade, with the stronger stones restoring more durability per use.

Blue, Purple and Gold Essence
Essences power the permanent talent tree, and you obtain them from the Aniimo guarding the Lost Sanctum. Defeating one causes its fading strength to combine with Vein energy, creating an energy orb. A high blue or purple beam of light shows where an orb has formed.

- Blue Essence — the Rare tier orb.
- Purple Essence — the Epic tier orb.
- Gold Essence — the top tier, demanded by the most expensive talents.
They convert upward at the Hot shop. One Purple Essence buys 2 Blue Essence, and one Gold Essence buys 2 Purple Essence. Talents like Critical Strike, Fully Loaded and Egg Boat Safe spend these alongside Eggshell Coins, so farming essence directly feeds your long-term progress in the mode.
Prismatic collectibles for the cabinet
A separate set of Prismatic-quality relics is picked up out in the open world and has no combat or selling use. These are collectibles you place in the Operation: Egg Heist collectible cabinet, and obtaining one unlocks an S1-exclusive Aniimo Accessory.
The standard set includes Soul Tremor, Feather Bathed in Light, Rose Thorn Blade and Cloudsoft Slumber. Each also has a Collector’s Edition version that unlocks the accessory’s Collector’s Edition instead, alongside extra Collector’s Edition pieces such as the Evercrystal Egg, Dragonflame Horn and Wolfspirit Ghost Lantern. The game lists these as cosmetics with no gameplay effect.
