Aniimo Fists I Walkthrough and Rewards

Fists I is a Journey side quest in Aniimo set in Beast Fang Ridge. It ties directly into the Warrior storyline, and its ending hands you the Fists treasure once you talk things through with Icho at the Outpost. Because it is time-gated, you cannot rush it in a single session.

Quick answer: Talk to the Fragrant Emberpup during the first day of Warrior, answer Dr. Lewis’s call, then finish Warrior (about 3 real-life days) and speak to Icho at the Outpost to receive the Fists item.

How to unlock Fists I in Beast Fang Ridge

While progressing through Warrior (The Legend of Thousand-Fang Ridge), you begin this quest. The similarly named Warrior (The Legend of Helmuts and Helgons) is a different quest involving Helmuts and Helgons.

On the first day of Warrior in Beast Fang Ridge, complete the optional objective. This marks the Fragrant Emberpup so you can find and speak to it.

Answer the call you receive from Dr. Lewis. That call is what officially adds Fists I to your Journey log.

Return to the Outpost in Breezy Plains, then speak with Icho about the quest. From the world map, you may fast-travel directly to the Outpost, which is south of the Forest of Falling Stars.

The Warrior prerequisite and 3-day time gate

You must first complete Warrior (The Legend of Thousand-Fang Ridge) before Fists I can be completed. The Warrior quest spans several in-game days and takes roughly 3 real-life days to finish, so the Fists I storyline follows the same timetable.

There is nothing to force here. Keep progressing Warrior each day until it is marked complete, and only then will the final Fists I step become available.

How to complete Fists I

Finish Warrior (The Legend of Thousand-Fang Ridge) completely. This is the gate that unlocks the closing conversation.

Open the world map, select the Outpost waypoint in Breezy Plains, and teleport there.

Approach Icho, standing beside Dr. Lewis on the research platform, and start the dialogue. Tell Icho what it means to be a warrior.

When the conversation ends, Icho hands over the Fists item and the quest closes out.

Fists I rewards

Finishing the discussion pays out crafting materials and currency, plus quest EXP. You also receive the Fists treasure itself.

The Fists is an Epic Treasure. Its flavor text reads, “The flame from Icho’s fist carries its past—and everything it has come to understand about what battle truly means.” You can only obtain it by completing this quest.

Confirm the quest is done

You know Fists I is complete when the Icho dialogue closes, and the reward screen appears with EXP, Glimmer, and Credits. The Fists treasure lands in your inventory, and Fists II unlocks as the next step in the same line. Fists II continues in Beast Fang Ridge and begins once you defeat the Nighttime Glynsera there.
