Gracewing’s Mountain Woods Form is the autumn variant of No. 029, a Heal-role Aniimo with Wind and Rock elements. It does not wander the map like most creatures. It sits buried in the leaf litter of the deciduous woods in Breezy Plains, and you have to disturb the pile before it shows up at all.
Quick answer: Clear the barrier in Lumenfly Valley, then break open piles of dead leaves in Blitzwood or Beast Fang Ridge. Gracewing (Mountain Woods Form) is hidden inside them.
Gracewing (Mountain Woods Form) habitats and level ranges
Only two zones hold this form, and both sit inside the Breezy Plains region. The level range you face depends entirely on which one you search.

Beast Fang Ridge is the gentler option if your team is still climbing through the thirties. Blitzwood is the easier one to identify on sight, since the whole area is covered in orange autumn trees and the leaf piles blend straight into the ground.
What you need before the leaf piles appear
The route to these spawns runs through Lumenfly Valley, and the barrier there has to come down first. Until you remove it, the leaf-pile spawns are out of reach no matter how long you comb the woods.
Once a pile has been emptied, it does not refill immediately. Progressing the quest The Land of Dancing Illusions respawns the Mountain Woods Form, so if you miss a catch or want a second one, push that quest forward and return.
How to reveal and catch it
It sleeps at night, which makes a backstab opener much simpler to line up.
Confirming the catch
A successful capture pops the summary card for No.029 Gracewing, labelled Mountain Woods Form. Open the Aniimo menu afterwards and the entry should list the Flutter Heal trait, the full combat skill set, and the forms research page with the Mountain Woods slot filled in. Registering it also pays out Growth Flower x2 as the release reward, and reporting it returns 100 Credits.
Evolving Mountain Woods Flutternym instead
If the leaf piles are already cleared, the Mountain Woods Form can also be produced by evolution. Take a Mountain Woods Flutternym to level 21, spend a Gust Stone, and it becomes Gracewing. The form only carries over if you evolve inside Beast Fang Ridge or Blitzwood, so do it on location rather than back at base.
Flutternym itself is much easier to find. It spawns in Nimbus Fields, The Mistwoods, Blitzwood and Sea of Flowers, and it gives itself away with the fluorescent scales it sheds while cloaked.
Base stats and skills
Every Gracewing form shares the same stat line at Nova stage. It is a healer first, with high Regen and modest defenses.

It stands 1 m tall and weighs 6 kg, with an even gender split and a shiny rate of 1 in 20,000. Its mobility skill is Luminous Prowl, which drops it into a Cloak state under a veil of pink mist, and its pathfinding is Fly.
The trait, Flutter Heal, raises healing by 20% when Gracewing enters battle as the active Aniimo. Off field it lingers as a phantom and restores 0.5% of max HP whenever another Aniimo casts a skill or Ultimate. Its combat kit covers the usual support jobs:
- Wind of Rejuvenation — heals the team for 9% of max HP over 8s, with 3% extra for Wind Aniimo.
- Wind of Regeneration — shields allies in the area for 12% of max HP, lasting 20s.
- Healing Dance — the same 9% team heal, plus 40% BREAK damage reduction inside the zone.
- Purifying Dance — clears all debuffs nearby and raises EP recovery by 20% for 10s.
- Phantom Dance — cleanses the caster, and cleanses the active teammate from off field.
- Phantomfly — leaves up to two EP pickups that restore 20 EP after a 3s delay.
Regardless of which form you register, the leaf-litter trip is worthwhile for its Ultimate, Help! Gracewing!: it immediately restores 30% of the caster’s maximum HP to every team member.
