Listed in the Aniilog as No. 72B, Prismana Magmarex is Magmarex’s crystal-jet variant. This Nova stage Aniimo has the Break role, combines Fire and Dark elements, and bears the nickname “Rainbow of the Ground.” It cannot be evolved into; it appears in the wild only after a region’s Prismatic Energy rises enough to draw out its Prismana form, where you can catch it.

Quick answer: Nurture the Bloom at Zephyrus Landbridge and clear Wild Surges until Breezy Plains reaches Full Prismatic Energy, then teleport to Hot Spring Reef and throw Sparkling Cubes at Prismana Magmarex.

Requirements and location before you start

The whole loop runs out of Breezy Plains. The Bloom stalk you nurture sits near Zephyrus Landbridge at map coordinates (0346, 1536), and the Prismana form spawns on the shore at Hot Spring Reef around coordinates (0693, 1474). Both are level 48–58 zones.

Have the following ready before you commit a run:

  • Reach level 50 and advance to Wayfarer III.
  • Complete the required quests in Elite Training Chapter 5.
  • Daily Nurture chances available (you get free chances each day, capped at 25 per day).
  • A Tumbler for mass-catching Wild Surge spawns.
  • Sparkling Cubes for the final capture.

A Tumbler is the cloud-shaped rolling tool that scoops up to 10 wild Aniimo at once as you roll over them. It costs about 200,000 Credits from the shop or can be crafted, and it saves large amounts of time during each Wild Surge.

Trigger the Prismana Magmarex spawn at the Bloom

The reliable way to force the spawn is to raise Breezy Plains’ Prismatic Energy to Full by cycling the Nurture and Wild Surge process at the Bloom stalk. Each time the Bloom releases energy there is a chance a Prismana Aniimo appears, and pushing the region to Full triggers the Prismana Magmarex spawn banner.

Travel to the active Bloom stalk in Breezy Plains at (0346, 1536), near Zephyrus Landbridge. Interact with it and open the Nurture menu.
Select Zephyrus Landbridge in the region list, then turn in offerings with daily free chances or tribute items to increase the area’s Prismatic Energy.

Select “Attract Aniimo” at the Bloom to start a timed Wild Surge, which runs for roughly three minutes and gathers wild Aniimo around the stalk.

Equip your Tumbler and roll over the spawned wild Aniimo (Pebblings, Lavazars, and Magmarexes) to capture them fast. Anipod Megas work for stragglers.
When the surge ends, return to the Bloom and choose “Release Prismatic Energy.” The regional state climbs step by step, moving through “Very High” toward “Full.”
Repeat the Nurture, Wild Surge, and release cycle until the notice reads “This area’s Prismatic Energy state: Full.” A beam of light shoots skyward and the alert confirms: “Prismatic Energy has grown, drawing out this region’s Prismana Aniimo. Go catch them!”

Reaching Full usually takes several cycles, not one. Filling the meter also has a chance to draw out other Prismana forms in the region, such as Hexitri, Glytsera, Ignitis, or Glacy.

Catch Prismana Magmarex at Hot Spring Reef

Once the spawn banner reads “Prismana Form Magmarex appeared,” open the world map. A purple light pillar marks Hot Spring Reef. Teleport to the nearest fast-travel point and head to the beach, where the oversized Prismana Magmarex sits near the red foliage along the shoreline.

Equip a Sparkling Cube, aim, and throw it at Prismana Magmarex. Keep throwing through any “Catch failed” results until the prompt shows “Guaranteed Success.” Using a Sparkling Cube turns the caught Aniimo into a Sparkling variant, grants a Collaboration Ability Level +1 bonus, and completes the “Obtain a Sparkling Aniimo” research, which pays out Credits x50000.

You know it worked when the capture confirmation screen shows the No. 072 Prismana Magmarex entry, along with the line “Under the influence of the Sparkling Cube, this Aniimo has become a Sparkling Aniimo!”

Reaching the natural surface spawn with a Magmarex

Prismana Magmarex can also surface on Zephyrus Landbridge during a naturally occurring Prismana Flow. To reach it there you have to explore the underground area fully, and rock debris blocks the way. You need a Magmarex to clear that debris, after which a wind lift carries you up to the surface. That makes catching the standard Magmarex a useful prerequisite for this route.

Head north of the Hot Spring Reef Bloom on Zephyrus Landbridge and drop down the geyser hole to reach the underground Alpha Magmarex Arena. A character level of 45 and Aniimo around level 50 is a sensible baseline before engaging.

Bring a Water Aniimo. Alpha Magmarex stacks Fire Debuff during the fight, and at 20 stacks it enters an Overheated state that raises its attack while lowering its Water resistance. Casting Water skills slows or reduces that buildup and keeps the boss out of Overheat.

Inflict Break to stagger the boss and open a burst window for heavy damage, then dodge its directional fire attacks marked by red ground indicators.

When its health empties, the “First Clear” banner and a catch countdown appear. Choose Anipod Ultra for the 100% catch chance to add the No. 072 Magmarex to your collection. That Magmarex is what clears the debris for the surface Prismana route.

In combat it is strong against Ice and Grass, resists Fire, Ice, and Grass, and takes extra damage from Water and Earth. Its trait, Pyro Charge, triggers after spending a total of 50 EP and then applies a stack of Fire Debuff to nearby targets every 2 seconds. Because there is no stat gap between a standard and a Prismana Aniimo, the Prismana form is mainly about the Fire/Dark typing, the different look, and completing the Aniilog with entry 72B.
