Land Color: Glimmer is one of the ten color quests tied to the sleeping seedling at the Amethyst Tree in Tideblossom Coast. It belongs to the Fragrant Dream chapter, where each color of the Breezy Plains is tied to a place and a legendary perfume. Glimmer stands for black, drawn from the Glimmer Fruit that grows in the shadows of the Mistwoods.
Quick answer: Bring the Binding Oath perfume to the Colorless Dream – Glimmer at the Amethyst Tree in Tideblossom Coast. Handing it over completes the quest and pays out 5 Glimmer and 60 Safaris.
What unlocks Land Color: Glimmer
Complete the main story’s A New Journey quest first. Afterward, return to the Amethyst Tree on Tideblossom Coast and inspect the seedling at its center. Ten Colorless Dreams will appear around the tree, one corresponding to each Breezy Plains color. Sensing a Dream unlocks its matching color section, and Glimmer becomes available when its clue is triggered.
Glimmer ranks seventh among the ten quests in the Fragrant Dream chapter, following Land Color: Driftwise and preceding Land Color: Berylline. Both objectives take place on Tideblossom Coast, and the closest fast-travel point is the Transporter in Tideblossom Coast.
Where to get the Binding Oath perfume
The first objective is simply to find the legendary perfume Binding Oath. You do not blend it during this quest. It comes from the Mistwoods storyline, where a perfumer used the Glimmer Fruit to create it. You earn the perfume by completing the Binding Oath journey quest, which runs through The Legend of Mist and Light.
Once Binding Oath is in your inventory, the first objective is cleared and you can move straight to delivery. If you have already finished the Mistwoods legend, you likely hold the perfume already.

Land Color: Glimmer rewards
| Reward | Quantity |
|---|---|
| Glimmer | 5 |
| Safaris | 60 |
Every color section in the Fragrant Dream chapter pays the same 60 Safaris and 5 Glimmer. On top of that, the chapter itself grants Report Cards at 20, 40, 60 and 80 percent completion, and the Irisals Hymn once you restore all ten colors.
You will know Glimmer worked when the second objective ticks off and the rewards land in your inventory. With black restored, you can turn to the remaining colors, and once all ten are returned the seedling stirs and yields a Prismana Iris Egg.
