Pomegg is Aniimo No. 036, a Grass-element creature with the Break role at the Lumin stage. It shows up across several parts of Idyll, and its regional forms each keep to their own habitats, so where you look depends on which Pomegg you want in your Aniilog.

Quick answer: The basic Pomegg spawns in Rosetower Woods, and its Highland Form lives in Beast Fang Ridge and Zephyrus Landbridge in the Breezy Plains. Weaken one in combat, then catch it with an Anipod.

Every Pomegg form and where it spawns

Pomegg has four forms under entry No. 036. They share the same Grass typing and Break role, but each form appears in different regions.

Sea of Flowers Pomegg only starts appearing after you beat the boss of the Rainbow of the Ground main story quest. Until then, its spots in the Forest of Falling Stars and Tideblossom Coast stay empty.

Find the basic Pomegg in Rosetower Woods

The standard Pomegg roams several grassy spots in Rosetower Woods at higher levels. These are peaceful creatures that often rest in the open, which makes them easy to reach and catch.

Open the world map in the Breezy Plains and look at the stretch between the RV Park: Sea of Flowers and the Rosetower Woods portal. That highlighted band is where the basic form spawns.

Travel to the grassy hillside near the ancient stone pillars. Pomegg appear here in the daytime and can be found asleep in the flowers, so move in quietly to line up a clean catch.

Aim an Anipod at the sleeping Pomegg and throw it. A resting Level 44 Pomegg shows around a 70% catch rate, so a single well-timed pod is usually enough to secure it.

Find the Highland Form in Beast Fang Ridge and Zephyrus Landbridge

The Highland Pomegg (No. 36C) keeps to the Breezy Plains and appears in two habitat bands: Beast Fang Ridge and the Zephyrus Landbridge. It wears a tall cap of dead leaves as camouflage, which is why you will often see one slip and roll down a slope. Wild encounters here run around Level 33.

Open the map and set a track on Highland Pomegg inside Beast Fang Ridge. The habitat squares light up to show exactly where it wanders.

Use the closest waypoint to teleport, then climb the hillside route, passing the other wild creatures along the way.
Engage the wild Highland Pomegg and lower its health in combat until it is weak enough to capture.
Cast your capture ability to secure it. Once the animation finishes, the Highland Form is added to your party and registered in your Aniilog under No. 036.

Pomegg stats, traits, and skills

Pomegg is a Break unit built around rhythm-driven combos. Tuning is its inherent trait, while Jittering Beats and Rhythm Combo are its key combat skills.

Grass typing means Pomegg is strong against Water and Earth and resists Grass, Water, and Earth. It takes extra damage from Fire, Dark, and Wind, so pair it carefully in team fights.

  • Tuning: Casting a skill adds 1 Volume stack, up to a maximum of 6. At maximum stacks, Crit Rate increases by 20% for 15s.
  • Rhythm Combo: A rhythmic combo usable up to three times in a row; casting on the beat adds an extra Volume stack.
  • Jittering Beats: Hits nearby targets and applies Silence for 4s.

How to evolve Pomegg

After capture, Pomegg evolves into Pomawk at Aniimo level 25 with Sprout Stone x1. The basic form has another evolution path: at level 25, it can become the Lightning-type Dazmand using a Roar Stone, once you finish the associated missions in the Aniimo Discovery event.

Whichever form you go after, the catch is confirmed the moment the creature drops into your party and its Aniilog entry fills in. From there you can level it toward evolution or slot it into a Break-focused team.
