Aniimo Prismana Carnival: Which Prismana Gets Your Sparkling Cube

Glynsera, Melloblum, Waleetle and Inferlupa share one final window, and only one of them needs a Sparkling Cube's Perfect roll.

Glynsera, Melloblum, Waleetle and Inferlupa share one final window, and only one of them needs a Sparkling Cube’s Perfect roll.

Aniimo’s Vein Abundance event is in its last week. All four seasonal Prismana forms, Glynsera, Melloblum, Waleetle and Inferlupa, are now spawning at the same time in their own regions. Each of them is a reasonable target for a Sparkling Cube. That is a problem, because most players hold very few Cubes and the Carnival has no announced return.

Quick answer: Spend the Cube on Prismana Inferlupa, then Melloblum if you have a second one. Catch all four with ordinary Aniipods before October 26, 03:59 UTC so you unlock every Prismana skill.

What a Sparkling Cube changes on a Prismana catch

The Sparkling Cube is one of the rarest Aniipods and guarantees three outcomes: the catch succeeds, the Aniimo is Sparkling, and its Potential is Perfect. Using it on an Aniimo that already has a Perfect roll raises the chance that its recommended attributes have Innate Potential above 8. Before the throw, the reticle displays “Guaranteed Success”.

Here is the part that changes the math. Catching a Prismana form with any Aniipod at all permanently unlocks that form’s exclusive Prismana skill for every copy of the species you own. You equip it from the Training menu. A Cube adds nothing to the skill unlock. It only buys Perfect stats and the Sparkling cosmetic.

The Aniipod Ultra also guarantees a catch, and its result is rated at least Elite. On a Prismana you only want for the skill, or for a Prismana Pact index entry, the Ultra does the job and the Cube stays in your bag.

Cubes are scarce because the ways to earn them are slow:

  • Trading 1,000 Sparkling Crystals at an outpost vendor gets you one Cube.
  • Each Vein Abundance task pays 30 Sparkling Crystals.
  • The Prismana Pact gives a Cube once you register 10 different Prismana Aniimo in the index.

You can make an Aniimo Sparkling even after capturing it. Report a Sparkling Aniimo at the outpost to earn a Sparkling Sigil, which changes an Aniimo you own into a Sparkling one. So using a Cube solely for the cosmetic is harder to justify.

Prismana Carnival schedule and closing time

Vein Abundance began on September 21 with one featured Prismana per week. Each of those creatures briefly replaced the Prismana that normally appears in its region. The fifth week, “Vein Abundance: Prismana Carnival,” brings all four back at once.

The four Carnival Prismana ranked for a Sparkling Cube

The order below is about one question only. On which of these creatures does a Perfect, Sparkling copy make the biggest difference compared with a free Ultra or standard catch? It is not a ranking of which creature is most fun to own.

2MelloblumSupport, Grass/LightSparkling Rose
3GlynseraDPS, Ice/LightPrismana Slash
4WaleetleDPS, Earth/DarkDarkwheel Slash

1. Prismana Inferlupa

Inferlupa is a Breaker. Its job is filling enemy BREAK gauges, and that output scales directly with its stats. A Perfect roll can push its Break innate potential limit to 18 or higher, so it is the clearest case of a Cube turning into combat value instead of just a nicer number on the profile.

Its Prismana skill, Blazing Wolf Assault, sends two clones to hit a chosen spot. In the [Full Energy] state it adds a third clone that holds [Super Armor] for 10 seconds. Super Armor makes the user immune to crowd control and displacement, and it keeps its BREAK value from falling below 1.

Availability matters too. Inferlupa has no wild habitat. Outside the event, the only way to get one is to evolve a Flameruff through the Journey: Warrior quest, which is time-gated across three days. A Prismana Inferlupa caught during the Carnival skips that whole route.

2. Prismana Melloblum

Melloblum is a Grass support, and it does a lot for a team. Its Rose Garden ultimate puts a circle under it that raises allies’ Grass Crit Damage by 70% for 30 seconds. Thorny Blessing gives the whole team thorns that burst under any target taking Grass Crit Damage. The Phantom Opening trait collects a [Rose Mark] stack whenever a party member lands a basic attack. It holds up to 10 stacks, and each one lowers Melloblum’s EP cost by 3.

Its Prismana skill, Sparkling Rose, removes negative effects from the entire team and fires a homing Holy-element rose with 15% extra Crit Rate. That cleanse is the reason to unlock the form at all. The downside is typing. Grass plus Light doubles its weakness to Dark damage, which makes it fragile against the wrong lineup.

3. Prismana Glynsera

Glynsera is an Ice DPS built around [Ice Debuff] stacks. Its Biting Wind trait adds 15% Crit Rate to hits on targets carrying more than 5 stacks. Frost Tail Strike then spends those stacks for 85% extra damage. Its regular Ice Strikes skill is what applies the stacks, 5 per cast.

Prismana Slash has the same structure as Ice Strikes: same power, same EP cost, same cooldown, three blade hits. The only change is that it deals Holy damage and applies no Ice Debuff. Putting it in Ice Strikes’ slot breaks the stack loop the rest of the kit relies on. The form is worth catching for the index and the look, but a Perfect copy gets you little.

4. Prismana Waleetle

Waleetle gets a good niche tool. Darkwheel Slash rolls its stone ball forward and deals an extra 400% damage to Shields. The rest of the package is weaker. Its Sandstorm Spin core skill drains EP every second it runs, the Overloaded Engine trait does nothing to fix that, and the Earth and Dark typing raises its elemental weaknesses from two to four. Other DPS options cover the same job with fewer drawbacks.

Prismana and core skill values

These are the game’s own figures for the skills behind the ranking. Several of them differ from the in-menu numbers shown in footage. Rose Garden’s Grass Crit Damage bonus, for example, is 70%.

Blazing Wolf AssaultFire60 / 201s
Sparkling RoseHoly40 / 201s

Prismana SlashHoly55 / 201s
Ice StrikesIce55 / 201s
Frost Tail StrikeIce60 / 151s
Darkwheel SlashDark60 / 201s

Two of these skills exist in two versions. Thorny Blessing’s team buff lasts 15 seconds in one and 22 seconds in the other, and its thorns can trigger at most once every 0.5 seconds. Frost Tail Strike spends 10 [Ice Debuff] stacks in one version and 5 in the other, for the same 85% bonus. Blazing Wolf Assault is the only BREAK-tagged skill in the table. Rose Garden is tagged as a Damage Boost.

Regular evolution routes the Carnival lets you skip

Catching the Prismana form during the event gives you the evolved species directly. Without it, each one comes from a specific evolution path with its own conditions.

Evolves intoFromLevelCondition and cost
InferlupaFlameruff20Journey: Warrior; Night Stone x1, Unbroken Flameruff Spirit x6
MelloblumBudsquire27Faithful personality, Journey: Flowers and Thorns; Sprout Stone x1, Stamen of Cubbo’s Rose x1
WaleetleBaleetle (Snowfield Form)39Perfect trajectory, Great Rolling Racing Challenge; Loam Stone x1

Inferlupa’s numbers back up its top rank. It has a base catch chance of 28%, BP attack of 108, EP regen of 99 and HP of 95, and it fills the BREAK role. Flameruff, its pre-evolution, lives in Nimbus Fields, The Argent Strait, Echoback Landing and Beast Fang Ridge. Inferlupa itself has no listed habitat.

Season 1 Part 2 Prismana after October 29

Your Cube also has to cover what comes next. The “Departure with the Wind: Part 2” update arrives on October 29 and adds four more Prismana in the Whisperwake Isles:

  • Prismana Whirlbite
  • Prismana Gachapus
  • Prismana Jabster
  • Prismana Sugartini

That is why one Cube on Inferlupa, ordinary pods on the other three, and a reserve for Part 2 is a sensible split. All four Carnival catches still add four distinct entries toward the Prismana Pact’s 10-Prismana goal, which pays out yet another Sparkling Cube. Whatever you skip, catch something from each region before the Carnival closes on October 26 at 03:59 UTC.
