Rainbow of the Ground is the penultimate main story quest in Aniimo, and it sends you to the Amethyst Tree on Tideblossom Coast to wake Irelia. The mission mixes a short cutscene-heavy approach with a barrier puzzle and a boss fight where you break three mechanisms mid-battle.
Quick answer: Reach Level 50 as a Wayfarer III with Elite Training Chapter Five cleared, travel to the Amethyst Tree on Tideblossom Coast, offer fragrance to open the barrier, then break all three mechanisms to defeat Irelia.

How to unlock Rainbow of the Ground
This quest is gated by three checks at once, so a high level alone will not open it. You need all of the following before the marker appears:
Pathfinder Level 50
The Wayfarer III title
Elite Training Chapter Five completed
The previous story quest, Ancient Sacred Fragrance, finished
If the story quest stays greyed out, check the title and Elite Training boxes rather than grinding levels. Both are separate progression tracks from your Pathfinder level.

Where Rainbow of the Ground begins
The quest plays out at Tideblossom Coast, in the Breezy Plains region. It is a high-level stretch of coastline, with a level range of 53 to 60, so bring a team that can hold up in a fight. Irelia herself fights at Level 50, but a recommended party level of 55 makes the mechanism battle far more comfortable.
Select the quest and use its objective marker to reach Tideblossom Coast, where Irelia is waiting. Once there, a scene begins: Nicole, Sunia, Velouria, and Helion gaze across the flower-filled bay at the huge Amethyst Tree.
After the scenes, follow Velouria toward the Amethyst Tree. As you get close, the purple flowers across the field lose their color and turn white — that is Velouria’s barrier lifting, and it is meant to happen.
Swim across the bay and approach the tree. A floating, tear-shaped purple barrier blocks the entrance, and the party will pause to work out how to get past it.
Find the glowing seedling flower on the shore, grown from Irelia’s roots. Use the Offer Spice prompt to scatter your fragrance over it. The Vein responds, the barrier opens, and a path into Irelia’s domain appears.
Inside, the space is dark and drained. Move the party across the desolate field toward the floating purple rift that hangs above a pool of water, where the energy is being pulled away.
A cutscene reveals three cubic mechanisms rising to devour Irelia’s colors, and the fight begins. Your objective is to break all three mechanisms to stop the energy drain while you battle Irelia across the shifting arena.
Once the mechanisms are down and Irelia is defeated, she is purified in a burst of light and butterflies. Watch the scenes, then talk to her to close out the quest as colors return to the coast.
Focus the mechanisms whenever they surface. Leaving them active keeps the color drain going, so clearing them quickly shortens the whole encounter.

How you know the quest is complete
The quest finishes on the shore of Tideblossom Coast, next to the newly blooming purple flower, once your final conversation with Irelia ends. After that final scene, A New Journey unlocks automatically as the last main story quest in the launch campaign, sending you back to Bloomville to say goodbye to Sunia.
