A Sparkling Cube is the single most valuable Aniipod in Aniimo, and it is easy to waste. Throw one at the first shiny-looking creature you spot and you burn a rare resource on a mediocre result. Save it for the right target and you walk away with an Aniimo that combines a rainbow-like Sparkling look, Perfect Potential, and a rare alternate form all at once.
Quick answer: Spend Sparkling Cubes on wild Prismana Aniimo or on special eggs in the Hatchinator. Never use one on an ordinary wild creature, since its underlying Potential is random.
What a Sparkling Cube does
The Sparkling Cube is a Prismatic-tier Aniipod, built by the Polaris Institute as an upgraded version of the Aniipod Ultra. When you use one, three things happen at once.
- The catch succeeds with a 100% success rate — no bounces, no break-outs.
- The caught Aniimo has Perfect Potential.
- The Aniimo is guaranteed to be Sparkling, carrying the shimmering rainbow outline.
There is a bonus on top of that. If the Aniimo you catch already had Perfect Potential, the Cube also raises the chance that its innate potential for recommended attributes exceeds 8. That extra roll matters at endgame, because higher innate values cut the amount of Star Essence you need to max a stat through Awakening.
The Sparkling effect is cosmetic. It does not raise combat stats on its own — the real value is the guaranteed Perfect Potential and the rarity stacking.
The best ways to spend a Sparkling Cube
Catch a wild Prismana Aniimo
Prismana Form Aniimo are rare alternate appearances, and catching a top-tier version the normal way can take hours of failed throws and bad Potential rolls. A Sparkling Cube skips all of that. Use one on a wild Prismana and you lock in a Perfect, Sparkling copy of an exceptionally rare creature in a single throw. This is the most reliable way to secure a Prismana without grinding.
Hatch a Sparkling from a special egg
Place the Sparkling Cube in the Hatchinator’s auxiliary catalyst slot while incubation is underway. Any hatch produced this way yields an Aniimo guaranteed to be Sparkling with an Elite-or-higher Potential rating. The method works for Prismana, Perfect, Legendary, and Alpha eggs, upgrading a good egg into a top-tier collector creature.
New accounts get a free Sparkling Cube from the global launch Welfare rewards. The strongest opening play is to reach Junior Wayfarer, claim a Prismana Form egg from the Prismana Promise event, place it in the Hatchinator, add the Cube to the auxiliary slot, and hatch it. That single move stacks a Prismana form and the Sparkling effect onto one starter.
The Umbra method for a boosted Prismana
This is the highest-ceiling play. Umbra Aniimo come with guaranteed Perfect Potential, so a Cube used on one triggers the extra 8+ potential boost. The sequence:
- Find a wild Umbra Aniimo.
- Catch it with a Sparkling Cube for a Perfect, boosted, Sparkling creature.
- Use a Prismana Orb to mutate it into its Prismana form.
The result is a Perfect Boosted Sparkling Prismana Form Aniimo — the rarest combination the systems allow. Prismana Orbs come from the Stamp Shop and Exchange Shop, so this route depends on how many Orbs you have banked.
Why random wild catches are a trap
A wild Sparkling catch looks great, but wild Aniimo roll random Innate Potential, and the natural chance of a true Perfect roll sits well below 1%. Use a Cube on an ordinary creature and you can end up with a beautiful Aniimo that is expensive to optimize. A low Potential roll around tier 3 can demand roughly 82 Star Essence to max a single stat, while a creature at 9 or higher needs far less. Save your Cubes for targets where the Perfect Potential guarantee is worth the price.
How to restock Sparkling Cubes
Because these are intentionally scarce, plan how you refill them before you spend. The exchange route is the steadiest: trade 1,000 Sparkling Crystals per Cube at the Outpost Vendor, reached through Shop → Corner Shop → Exchange → Outpost Vendor → Item Exchange. Sparkling Crystals accumulate from Elite Training activities and optional courses, so by level 50 you should have enough for a few Cubes.

Limited-time events occasionally offer a Sparkling Cube as a grand prize, so check event reward tracks when they appear. The Lumin Crystals option is the costliest since that currency is premium, making it the last resort.
You will know it worked immediately: the caught or hatched Aniimo appears with the rainbow Sparkling outline and a Perfect Potential rating in its stat panel. If you targeted a Prismana or Umbra creature, you also keep the alternate form on top of the Sparkling effect — the payoff that makes holding your Cubes for the right moment worth it.
