Alpha Bouldus is a fixed open-world boss in Aniimo and the Earth-type Alpha you fight to feed evolution and material progression. It sits in Berylline Vale, hits hardest with a single rock-wall mechanic, and only becomes catchable after you defeat it.
Quick answer: Beat the Level 43 Earth-type Alpha Bouldus in Berylline Vale with a Water-type team and a healer, then throw an Aniipod Ultra or Sparkling Cube during the post-fight catch window for a 100% capture.
Alpha Bouldus location in Berylline Vale
Alpha Bouldus spawns on a small hill northeast of Mudstone Pass Bloom in Berylline Vale, within the Breezy Plains region. On the world map, the marker points to coordinates -1019, 1795 in the northern stretch of the zone. Activate the Mudstone Pass Bloom before you engage so a failed attempt has a short return route for repeat runs.
The boss may appear at any hour, and the nearby area ranges from level 41 to 48. A map marker can place you near the target without showing its height, so inspect the hill’s elevation before deciding the spawn is missing.

Alpha Bouldus is an Earth-type Alpha at level 43, with a Medium danger rating. As an Earth Aniimo, it is especially vulnerable to Water-type attacks; a Water attacker is the quickest way to break its gauge and lower its health.

If your party is far below Level 43, the game warns that victory is unlikely. Raise your Aniimo with EXP items first rather than throwing pods at a boss you cannot bring down.
Recommended team
Build around Water damage, reliable Break, and sustain. A dedicated healer such as Glacy keeps you alive through the rock-wall phase, while a Water attacker exploits the Earth weakness.
- A Water-type attacker to exploit the Earth weakness.
- An Aniimo with strong Break to trigger the vulnerable state.
- A healer like Glacy for the trapped rolling phase.
How to beat Alpha Bouldus

If you get trapped inside the ring, twine with your healer, ideally casting Glacy’s ultimate, to create a healing field while you attack through the rolling charge. If you end up outside the walls, use that window to heal up or fly over the enclosure.

How to capture Alpha Bouldus
You cannot catch an Alpha while it is alive or while Twined during the fight. Capturing only unlocks after you defeat it. Once it falls, a catch countdown begins and you get one chance to throw a pod from the catch menu.

A guaranteed capture requires a top-tier pod. Standard Aniipods cannot catch this Alpha, and Hyper and Mega pods make very little difference. Use an Aniipod Ultra or a Sparkling Cube to secure the capture.
| Pod | Catch rate |
|---|---|
| Aniipod | 0% |
| 12% | |

Selecting Catch and Claim costs 30 Primegy, but you receive the rewards even if the capture roll fails, so the run still pays out. Leave without throwing a pod and you’ll forfeit the rewards while keeping your Primegy. If materials are your only goal, the free pod supplied by the game is sufficient. On a successful capture, Bouldus appears in your Aniilog as No. 058, Basic Form, Nova Stage, Support role.
Rewards and why to farm it
| Reward | Amount |
|---|---|
| Loam Stone | x5 |
| Glimmer | x50 |
| Safaris | x500 |
| Irisalis Petal | x1 |
| Lumin Amber: Breezy Plains | x1 |
Those are the first-clear rewards, and the boss continues to drop Loam Stone as a repeatable material. That stone matters beyond a checklist entry, since the Baleetle to Bouldus evolution requires a Loam Stone at level 39. Alpha Bouldus stays part of the repeatable Alpha loop, so activate the nearby Bloom, bring your Water counter, and return whenever you need more materials or another shot at the catch.
