Anime Ascendants leans toward the simpler end of Roblox tower defense, but the gap between a maxed meta carry and a leftover starter unit is enormous once bosses gain real health. The fastest way to clear raids, legend stages, and infinite mode is to stop investing in early units and funnel resources into a small core of high-DPS carries, one or two farmers, and a buff support.
Quick answer: Build around Sukuno, Yuto, and Itochi as your damage core, slot Bolma (and Senko) for cash, keep Orwin for the team-wide buff, then put Ascendant or Singularity on your main carry and Golden on your farmers.
Anime Ascendants units tier list
Rankings reflect performance across story, raids, infinite mode, and legend stages when units are evolved and maxed. Raw DPS carries the most weight because late waves are dominated by high-health bosses, but farming and buff utility earns a high placement too since it multiplies the value of your damage dealers. Lower tiers are mostly early-game characters that fall off the moment stronger mythics enter your build.
| Tier | Units |
|---|---|
| S+ | Sukuno, Yuto, Itochi |
| S | Free Ren, Shonks, Orwin, Bolma, Goju, Hosoko, Itadoki |
| A | Sand MadMan, Kollua, Ariva, Nobora, Hosino, Megomu, Gambler, Miki, Senko, Hino, Limo, Gen (???) |
| B | Demon Lord, Benimaro, Togu, Gen (Serious), Touci, Mako, Thick-Browed |
| C | Saske (Curse Mark), Ichago, Gen, Genas, Soboto, Tanji, Saske Kid |

Add to Google Preferences →Best endgame carries (S+ and S tier)
These are the units you want fully evolved and maxed before tackling the hardest content. They combine high single-target burst with scaling that keeps pace deep into raids and infinite mode.
| Unit | Role | How to get |
|---|---|---|
| Sukuno | Endgame nuke that melts boss waves | Evolve Itadoki (JJK Legend Stage; new EVO from the Sukuna and Yuji flashback) |
| Yuto | High-burst raid DPS | Raids |
| Itochi | DPS plus support effects (flexible) | Itochi event |
| Itadoki | Carry and Sukuno evolution base | Cursed Academy Legend Stage |
| Hosoko | Reliable mythic wave clear | Summons |
| Goju | Strong-targeting damage dealer | Summons |
| Free Ren | Stable long-stage DPS | Mage Pass |
| Shonks | AoE coverage, beginner-friendly | Summons |
| Orwin | Team-wide buff support | Summons |
| Bolma | Best farm unit (cash generation) | Summons |
If you can only commit to one project early, push toward Sukuno. The evolved form keeps scaling well past the point where most carries stall. Assassin-style starters that double as support are also worth rushing because they cover DPS and team utility in a single slot.
Farmers and supports that stay relevant
Treat farmers and buffers as permanent team members rather than damage dealers. They are especially valuable in longer modes like raids, where extra cash means faster upgrades and earlier access to your nukes.
- Bolma is the top farm unit. More money up front gets your carries online sooner.
- Senko offers farm utility and support value, so it earns a slot even though its damage is mediocre.
- Orwin is a buff unit that raises your carries’ damage, which keeps it useful even in endgame builds.
- Gambler works best as a secondary support DPS rather than a primary carry.
- Charmi (Love) is worth chasing for the Bulma money-gain boost and an overall unit damage boost.
Among legendaries, Touci is the strongest pure DPS option while Orwin gives the best support damage. For brand-new accounts, Hosino and Megomu are the steadiest mythic beginners, with Touci and Orwin covering the legendary side.
You can also claim a free Miki exclusive unit by joining the Anime Ascendants Roblox group. It is an easy early boost while you grind toward the meta core.
Mid-game priorities and what to drop
Mid-game ranking is driven by accessibility, not perfect DPS. Easy-to-get mythics and legendaries carry most story stages and harder challenges while you build toward raids. The B and C tiers clear early content but should be retired once stronger mythics arrive.
- Move toward raids: the S-tier units above are your priority for harder challenges.
- Story and support: A-tier units handle story and prop up your carries in tougher modes.
- Beginners: B-tier units are solid starting carries until you upgrade.
- Retire these: C and D units are early-game only. Stop upgrading them once a higher-tier DPS is available.
Units without evolutions (legendary and below) lose value fast in difficult modes. The only ones worth long-term investment are mythic, secret, and exclusive units with evolutions, plus low-rarity units that bring strong support utility like buffs or money generation.
Anime Ascendants traits tier list
Traits are ranked by how much they raise real combat performance. Damage boosts and cooldown reductions matter most because they translate directly into DPS, so the rare traits with large multipliers sit at the top. Anything at the bottom should be rerolled as soon as you can.
| Tier | Traits |
|---|---|
| S+ | Ascendant |
| S | Singularity, Slayer, Supernova, Berserker, Golden |
| A | Godspeed, Strong III, Nimble III, Expertion, Range III |
| B | Strong II, Nimble II, Range II |
| C | Strong I, Nimble I |
| D | Range I |
Which trait goes on which unit
- Meta DPS: put Ascendant or Singularity on S-tier carries for maximum damage from a single placement.
- Farm units: Golden adds extra cash on top of damage, so it belongs on Bolma and other farmers.
- Secondary DPS: Berserker is excellent for boss damage; Slayer is a near-equal but slightly weaker alternative when you are not running Ascendant or Singularity.
- Support: on Orwin, Goju, and Gambler, skip Singularity and Ascendant. Use Supernova for more range, or fall back on a secondary DPS trait.
- Beginners: Godspeed is the floor you want. Strong III and Nimble III also work well early.
Note: avoid anything below Godspeed, including Expertion, for serious combat builds. Expertion only boosts XP gains, so it helps while leveling but does nothing for clear speed.
Rerolls, crystal stones, and rushing units
You will need rerolls to land good traits and crystal stones to fuel upgrades. Both come from steady progression rather than a single source.
| Resource | How to get it |
|---|---|
| Rerolls | Shop purchases, completing level-ups, challenges, index milestones, and the pass |
| Crystal stones | Legend stages (best source), plus challenges and the merchant |
For rush targets, prioritize Maka (Revenge), Megumin and Mahoraga, and Itadori (Final Vessel). Guts and Griffith come from the banner, while Skeleton Knight drops from Act 4/5 of the Berserk Raid. The Guts item is available from the Radi Shop for 250 Seal of Sacrifice, and the Griffith item comes from Berserk Raid Act 5.
The short version: stays the same as the meta shifts. Lock in Sukuno, Yuto, and Itochi as your damage core, keep Bolma and Orwin permanently slotted, and reroll your traits until your main carry is wearing Ascendant or Singularity. Everything in the lower tiers is a stepping stone you can safely leave behind once those pieces come together.
