Update 4.5 pushes Anime Breaker’s grind into Ghoul City, the game’s eighth world, where a set of endgame systems built around the Ghoul Lab decide how much energy an account can produce. Two of them carry the most weight: a jewel crafting chain that tops out at Secret rarity, and the Chimera (Rinkaku) transplant system that stacks a large energy multiplier once every body slot is filled.
Quick answer: Crafting jewels through to Secret rarity and filling all three Chimera (Rinkaku) slots gives a maxed 3/3 Chimera worth a 5.5x energy multiplier, while Level 30 caps the player rank at a 127,834x energy multiplier.
Jewel crafting and the six rarity tiers
Jewels are stat pieces you build in the Crafting menu, not pulls from a machine. Collars, Rings, and Earrings each climb through six rarities in order: Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythical, and Secret. Every step consumes specific materials, and the energy gain per tier grows fast enough that reaching Secret on a piece like the Energy Collar produces a visible jump in energy output.
The Energy Collar starts as a common craft built from Quinque Steel, then takes additional materials as it moves up each tier. The same ladder applies to the Gold Earring, which also finishes at Secret rarity.

Each material comes from a different activity, so building a full jewel loadout means farming several modes rather than grinding one spot. The table below shows where each crafting material drops.
| Material | Rarity | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Quinque Steel | Legendary | Rogue Ghouls in Ghoul City |
| Magic Dust | Epic | Magic Tower floors |
| Halfway Dust | Epic | Time Trial: The Hallway |
| Raid Shard | — | Raids |
Magic Dust carries the middle tiers. After clearing Magic Tower floors to stock up, the Energy Collar can be pushed through Rare, Epic, and Legendary recipes in sequence.

The final step back to Quinque Steel produces the Secret Energy Collar, the top tier for that piece. Farming the Ukaku, Bikaku, and Rinkaku Rogues in Ghoul City is the route to the Quinque Steel that this last craft needs.

Chimera (Rinkaku) and the 5.5x energy boost
Chimera (Rinkaku) is a transplant system inside the Ghoul Lab’s Chimera tab. It has three body slots, and each one is filled by implanting a part unlocked from a different ghoul type. Filling all three reaches a 3/3 “Maxed” Chimera (Rinkaku), which grants a 5.5x energy multiplier.
The parts come from Ghoul Raids, which drop the two currencies the implants require: Ghoul Cores and Ghoul Serums. The three slots cost increasing amounts, with the Tailbone demanding the heaviest core investment.
| Slot | Ghoul type | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Shoulders | Ukaku | 10 Ghoul Serums, 1 Ghoul Core |
| Arm | Koukaku | 20 Ghoul Cores, 10 Ghoul Serums |
| Tailbone | Bikaku | 40 Ghoul Cores, 10 Ghoul Serums |
Because a maxed Chimera needs 61 Ghoul Cores and 30 Ghoul Serums in total, the raid grind is substantial. Ghoul Cores carry a 0.02% base drop chance with a pity counter at 5,000, and Ghoul Serums sit at 0.013% with pity at 7,500, so running raid waves repeatedly is the practical way to stockpile both. The same raids can also surface the One-Eyed King title at a 0.005% chance.
Kakuja Tree completion
The Kakuja Tree is its own upgrade board in Ghoul Lab. Its branches cover Power and Duration, with Damage tied to Fury and Frenzy providing the Gold boost. Buy nodes with RC Cells collected from rogue bosses; spending along a branch unlocks its connected damage nodes.

Filling out every branch takes the board to 100% completion, the point at which no more nodes remain to buy.

Level 30 is the rank cap in Update 4.5
Rank-ups consume energy to increase your base multiplier, and this update lists Level 30 as the highest player rank. Reaching that rank gives a 127,834x energy multiplier. As the table shows, the final few rank-ups require steep scaling.
| Rank | Energy multiplier | Cost to reach |
|---|---|---|
| Level 28 | 56,815x | — |
| Level 29 | 85,222x | 666!D / 1.58!E Energy |
| Level 30 (Maxed) | 127,834x | 100!E Energy |
Once Level 30 is reached, the rank panel reads “Maxed” and no further rank-up prompt appears.
The Salamander mount from Time Trial: The Hallway
Time Trial: The Hallway is the mode that drops Halfway Dust for jewel crafting, but it also holds the Salamander mount as a rare reward. The Salamander grants +45 Walk Speed and drops only once per account.
Its drop chance is 0.01%, which makes it one of the hardest pulls in the mode. Clearing Hallway stages quickly on higher difficulty is the only way to keep rolling for it, and even sustained runs can end without a drop.

Taken together, these systems form the top of Update 4.5’s progression in Ghoul City. The jewels and the maxed Chimera (Rinkaku) supply the largest energy gains, the Kakuja Tree and Level 30 rank cap round out the multipliers, and the Salamander sits aside as a long-odds chase rather than a progression requirement.
