Anime Fighting Simulator: Rumbling Countdown and What’s Next

Anime Fighting Simulator is one of Roblox’s long-running anime-combat experiences, and its weekly Saturday update rhythm keeps rolling. As of this writing, it is drawing about 16,000 players at once, has passed about 24,000,000 lifetime visits, and sits above about 320,000 favorites.
Rumbling is the update currently in play. Carrying an admin-abuse tag in its title as well, it opened on July 25, 2026 and runs through August 1, taking over from Update 5, which has since closed. One more drop is already dated behind it: Dimension 2, opening August 1. Exact start and end times for both are in the schedule below.
These updates keep landing on Saturdays, about one a week, which makes the rhythm easy to read. We update this page as the schedule changes. Last updated August 8.

Current and upcoming events
Rumbling + Admin Abuse (live now)
Rumbling, tagged with an admin-abuse window in its title, is the current headline. It opened on July 25, 2026 at 4:15 p.m. ET (1:15 p.m. PT, 8:15 p.m. UTC) and runs through August 1 at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT, midnight UTC). Interest has climbed past 55,000, the biggest turnout of anything live or upcoming right now. The developer hasn’t posted a full breakdown of what’s inside beyond the admin-abuse tag, continuing the same pattern the last several updates have followed.
Dimension 2 (up next)
Dimension 2 is the only event dated beyond Rumbling, scheduled to open on August 1, 2026 at 4 p.m. ET (1 p.m. PT, 8 p.m. UTC) and run through August 8 at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT, midnight UTC). The name points to a larger content expansion than a routine weekly update, though the developer hasn’t detailed it yet. Sign-ups have already climbed past 50,000, and it hasn’t even opened yet. It opens four hours before Rumbling closes, so the two overlap that Saturday evening.
Recently ended events
Update 5 + AA (recently ended)
Update 5, tagged with an admin-abuse window of its own, was the previous headline and has now wrapped up. It opened on July 18, 2026 at 5 p.m. ET and closed on the evening of July 25 at 8 p.m. ET — a few hours after Rumbling had already opened, continuing the back-to-back handoff pattern between updates. It drew over 60,000 interested players, in line with the last couple of drops. The developer didn’t publish a full feature list for it, so its contents stayed unconfirmed.
Update 4 + Admin Abuse (recently ended)
Update 4, also paired with an admin-abuse window, closed out before that. It opened on July 11, 2026 at 5 p.m. ET and ran through July 18 at 7 p.m. ET, a couple of hours after Update 5 had already gone live. It pulled the largest recent crowd, with more than 70,000 sign-ups. As with the updates around it, the developer didn’t publish a full breakdown of its contents.
What’s next
With updates arriving on consecutive Saturdays, and each one staying open until the next has already started, the weekly cadence is easy to read. The calendar currently runs out to Dimension 2 on August 1, and if the pattern holds, another drop would be due around the following Saturday. Anything beyond the events named above hasn’t been announced yet.
