Traits are passive stat buffs you attach to summoned units in Anime Fighting Simulator, the open-world training game on Roblox. Each one changes how a unit performs, from raw damage against certain rarities to faster training, higher Yen gain, or reduced ability cooldowns. You lock them in by rerolling with tokens, so the outcome is random every time.
Quick answer: Talk to the Rimu NPC on the first floor of headquarters near the Summon area, pick the unit you want to buff, and press Reroll to spend one Trait Reroll token for a random Trait.

Rerolls cost tokens, and you cannot buy your way past the randomness. Tokens come from a few reliable sources spread across normal play.
- Complete quests by interacting with the various NPCs placed around the map.
- Redeem active codes, which frequently bundle Trait Rerolls alongside other boosts.
- Claim rewards handed out during updates and in-game events.

Which Traits are worth chasing
What counts as a good roll depends on how you play. If you are pushing bosses, Executioner adds a flat 20 percent to NPC and boss damage, while Berserk rewards fighting at low health. For steady progression, Trainer II and Specialist II speed up how fast a unit builds stats, and the two Specialist tiers stack on top of a shiny unit’s boost.
Economy-focused players lean toward Greedy II for extra Yen and Collector I for Chikara Shards. Because the strongest buffs sit in the sub-1-percent range, expect to spend a large stack of tokens before landing a Mythic or Legendary Trait.
Note: Each reroll overwrites the current Trait on that unit. There is no way to keep two Traits at once, so a bad reroll after a good one means starting the hunt again.
You will know a reroll worked when the unit’s Trait label updates in the Rimu menu to the newly assigned buff. If nothing changes, you are out of Trait Reroll tokens, so return to the quest-giving NPCs or redeem fresh codes before trying again.
