Update 0.5 is the largest content drop Anime Mysterious has had so far, built almost entirely around a Fate crossover. It adds 16 units, a dedicated Fate story path, a raid mode, a new currency called Fate Coins, fresh cosmetics and packs, and a set of evolution items that turn several of the new characters into stronger forms. Alongside the new content, the patch rebalances challenge rewards and adds a long-requested Auto Ultimate toggle.
Quick answer: The new Fate units come from four places: the Golden King Event (Gilgamesh), the Fate Story Mysterious stage, the Fate Special Banner, and the Season 2 Anime Genesis Battle Pass. Evolutions are crafted at the lobby Evolution station using materials farmed from the Fate raid and the Golden King Event.
What Update 0.5 adds to Anime Mysterious
The patch notes list 16 new units along with new Story, Mysterious, and Event content, a Raid mode, a new currency, new cosmetics, new banners, and new items. Two packs join the shop, the Release Capsule Pack and the Trait UPD 0.5 Pack.
Auto Ultimate is the clearest quality-of-life change. It lets units fire their ultimate automatically rather than requiring a manual trigger. The settings menu also gains options to hide unit overhead displays, ultimate effects, and other players’ units, which is aimed at cutting on-screen clutter during busy waves. Passive descriptions now include ultimate text so you can read a unit’s full kit from its card.
Balance and economy changes
- More rerolls are available in both the Coins and Gems shops.
- A 1.5x event has been added to the weekly rotation.
- Shiny unit counts are now separated from regular unit counts.
- Gems Transfer has been renamed to Currency Transfer.
- The Shiny gamepass buff has been increased.
- Daily Challenge rewards have been increased.
- The Trait RRR chance from capsules has been raised.
Bug fixes cover gear disappearing when units were traded without being unequipped first, missing ultimate maps for Yuta and Gojo, several Unit Manager issues, the Feed Bar bug, and lobby lag that the update targets with broader optimization.
The Challenges menu keeps its three cadences after the reward bump. Weekly challenges reset every 7 days, Daily challenges every 1 day, and Regular challenges every 30 minutes.

Where the new Fate units come from
The Fate roster is spread across four systems rather than a single banner. Each one uses a different unlock condition, and Fate Coins are the shared currency behind the event shop and the summon pool.
| Source | Access | Units |
|---|---|---|
| Golden King Event | Level 10 | Gilgamesh (0.1% drop) or Boss Event Shop |
| Fate Story Mysterious | Clear Level 5 or Nightmare | Story reward unit |
| Fate Special Banner | Fate Coins | Archor, Siri, Atala and others |
| Anime Genesis Battle Pass | Season 2 track | Sakkai (tier 1) and later tiers |
Gilgamesh and the Golden King Event
Gilgamesh is tied to the Golden King Event, which opens once you reach Level 10. Clearing the event gives a direct 0.1% drop chance for the unit. Because that rate is low, the Boss Event Shop acts as the reliable alternative, letting you spend Fate Coins on event rewards instead of relying on the drop.

The Fate Story unit
The Story lobby now contains a Fate Story Mysterious path alongside the existing worlds. Its reward unit is tied to completing the harder stages, specifically Level 5 or the Nightmare difficulty, rather than an early clear.

The Fate Special Banner
The Fate Special Banner is summoned with Fate Coins. Its Mythic pool includes Archor, Siri (Saber), and Atala, among others. The banner runs two separate pity counters, a Fate Mythic Pity at 100 pulls and a Fate Legend Pity at 300 pulls, so repeated summons guarantee a high-rarity unit once the counter fills.

Season 2 Anime Genesis Battle Pass
The Season 2 Anime Genesis Battle Pass carries its own unit rewards across its tiers. Sakkai is unlocked at the first tier, with further units handed out as the track levels up. This path rewards regular play rather than currency spending.

Evolving Fate units with Alter Mask and Crimson Sovereignty
Evolutions are handled at the Evolution station in the lobby, where the Crafting menu holds the new recipes. Two items drive the Fate evolutions, and both require a currency cost plus materials rather than currency alone.
| Evolution item | Currency cost | Additional requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Alter Mask | 50,000 | Required fragments and materials |
| Crimson Sovereignty | 75,000 | Required materials |
The materials behind both recipes drop from the Fate (Event) raid and the Golden King Boss Event. The Fate raid runs with a 1.5x drop rate and 1.5x experience modifier, which is what makes it the intended farm for evolution mats. Clearing those stages supplies the fragments the crafting recipes ask for, and once an item is crafted it can be applied to units such as Gilgamesh and Siri.

Taken together, Update 0.5 pushes most of its new power through the Fate theme and gates the strongest payoffs behind the raid and the Golden King Event. The banner and story offer the quickest routes to a Fate unit, while the evolution materials reward players who grind the event stages at the boosted drop rate.
