Update 2 of Anime Origins, titled “A New Fate Awaits!”, went live on September 19, 2026 and brought seven units with it: Gilgamos, Arturia, Inanna, Scathy, Sunji, Psychy, and Clown Guy. Two of them, Gilgamos and Inanna, sit behind the update’s new game modes rather than behind a banner, and each has one specific condition that hands the unit over.
Quick answer: Inanna is awarded through repeated Holy Grail War Act 3 clears, which build toward a guaranteed drop. Gilgamos only appears after you defeat an empowered boss on a Room 10 node in Endless Labyrinth.
The two Fate Mythics are not banner pulls
Along with seven additions, the Update Log records new evolutions and shiny models, identifies the stages Uruk, Uruk – Dusk, and Ryuudou-Ji, and details new artifacts plus the Season 2 Battlepass, led by Clown Guy. Its two relevant modes are Holy Grail War and Endless Labyrinth.

Summoning will not help for these two. Standard Banner 1 features Scathy, Sunji, and Emmy, so rolling gems can fill out the rest of the Update 2 roster, but no amount of pulls produces Gilgamos or Inanna.

Anything you do pull lands in the Units menu, where you can read the full kit before committing resources. Sunji’s Blaze EX and Scathy’s Dun Scaith passive are both visible there.

How to get Inanna from Holy Grail War Act 3
Holy Grail War runs on Class Contracts. Before a run you pick one of Saber, Archer, Lancer, Rider, Caster, Assassin, or Berserker, and that contract applies a stat package for the whole stage. The mode menu also states Act 3 requirements and the Ishtar reward directly.

You will know it worked when the stage reward screen announces the Mythic unlock for Inanna. She then appears in the Units menu with Heavenly Descent and Queen’s Frustration listed among her abilities and passives.

How to get Gilgamos from an Endless Labyrinth empowered boss
Endless Labyrinth is a branching floor map. Each floor is a chain of rooms marked as Normal, Chest, Event, Shop, or Boss, you pick a starter unit from a set of random rare options, and clearing a room lets you choose the next path. Room 10 is the boss node on each floor, and Gilgamos drops only from boss floors.
The important detail is that an ordinary Room 10 boss is not enough. Clearing a standard Floor 11 boss node can end with no unit at all. The node you want carries a skull marker and the line about defeating an empowered boss to obtain him.

A cinematic showing Gilgamesh awakening plays the moment the empowered boss dies. That cutscene is the confirmation, and the Mythic unit Gilgamos is in your inventory once it ends.
Evolution materials for Inanna (Venus) and Gilgamos (King of Uruk)
Both units evolve, and both need to be fed XP items up to Level 70 first. Their evolution requirements are listed on the unit card, and the ingredients come from three separate places.
| Material | Where to get it | Used by |
|---|---|---|
| Maanna | Holy Grail Shop, 500 Grail Fragments | Inanna |
| Gilgamos’s Tome | Holy Grail Shop, 800 Grail Fragments | Gilgamos |
| Servant’s Marks | Ryudou-Ji story mode | Both |
| Blessed Grails | Holy Grail War rewards | Gilgamos |
The Holy Grail Shop is run by Saber, and Grail Fragments come from Holy Grail War victories, which means the same Act 3 grind that unlocks Inanna also pays for both evolutions. Servant Marks are farmed separately by replaying the Ryudou-Ji story stage.
With everything collected, use the Evolution chamber. Inanna becomes Inanna (Venus) and Gilgamos becomes Gilgamos (King of Uruk), each with a new ability set and its own hybrid upgrade cost milestones.
Best traits and stat rerolls for both units
Rerolling happens at two stations in the upgrade room. Stat Reroll consumes stat prisms and targets damage, cooldown, and range grades, with SS being the top result. Trait Reroll is the separate and far more expensive hunt.
Both Gilgamos and Inanna want Immortal first and Overseer as the realistic fallback.
| Trait | Effects | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Immortal | Damage rises by 200%, cooldown drops by 15%, range increases by 20%, and income goes up by 25%. | 1 unit per team |
| Overseer | Damage increases by 20%, cooldown is reduced by 5%, range expands by 10%, and bonus True Damage rises by 30%. | None |
| Ascendant | Boss Damage is 35% higher, while Damage and Range each increase by 10%. | None |
| Rupture | +30% Crit Chance, +35% Crit Damage | None |
Immortal also fires once per match after Wave 10, restoring the unit’s base power while instantly killing nearby non-boss enemies and knocking back or slowing the rest. Its roll rate is 0.01%, and landing it triggers an extended cinematic, so expect a long run of Joker, Stride, Ascendant, and Rupture results along the way.
Only one unit on your team can carry Immortal. If it is already sitting on a carry like Madaro, put Overseer on the Fate Mythics instead of burning rerolls on a slot you cannot use.
Ascensions and the final check
The last investment step is the Ascensions shrine, which takes Fusion Cores. Gilgamos can be pushed to Ascension III there, and cosmetics are handled separately, including the golden Gate of Babylon VFX aura you can equip on him.
To confirm both units are fully done, open the Units menu and check three things. The names should read Inanna (Venus) and Gilgamos (King of Uruk), the level should sit at 70, and the trait slot should show the trait you rolled. If the evolved name has not changed, an evolution material is still missing, and the unit card will say which one.
