Anime Squadron: How to Beat the Melovelent Shrine Invasion and Shibuya Raid

What you need to clear the JJK update's two toughest fights, from boss HP to the free codes that stock your team.

What you need to clear the JJK update’s two toughest fights, from boss HP to the free codes that stock your team.

The JJK-themed update in Anime Squadron adds two demanding endgame fights, the Shibuya (Destroyed) Raid and the Melovelent Shrine Invasion. Both drop you against high-HP Curse bosses, so the win comes down to a leveled team, upgraded gear, and picking the right mode from the lobby.

Quick answer: Enter the Shibuya (Destroyed) Raid to fight Yuto (Curse Spirit), who has 60M HP behind a 15M shield, and enter the Melovelent Shrine Invasion to fight Sakuna (Curse), who has 100M HP. Break the shield first on Yuto, then focus damage until each boss’s health bar empties and the clear screen appears.

Boss stats for both fights

Your damage output has to clear these health pools within the wave timer. Yuto adds a shield layer that must be stripped before his main health bar takes damage, while Sakuna is a single large pool with no shield.

Prep before you queue

Both fights punish an under-built team. Two things move the needle most: leveled units with strong traits, and upgraded gear.

The update adds new mythic summon units. Maaki and Hakari appear on the basic summon banner, and the JJK roster also brings Goju, Yuto, Sakuna, and Kashimo. Build your carry and support around whichever mythics you pull.

The gear upgrade system uses two materials, Prisms and Perfect Prisms, to raise gear stats and the upgrade success rate. Upgrading your damage gear before these fights directly shortens how long each boss survives.

How to upgrade gear

Go to the Upgrade area in the lobby and open the Gear Upgrade menu.
Select the gear piece you want to improve.
Spend Prisms or Perfect Prisms to raise the success rate and confirm the upgrade. Perfect Prisms give the higher success boost, so save them for high-value gear.

Redeem the JJK update codes first

Three active codes hand out gems, trait shards, and upgrade Prisms, plus a full Tanjiro evolution bundle. Redeem them in-game before you spend anything, since they fund the gear upgrades and rerolls you need for these bosses. You can launch the experience from the official Anime Squadron Roblox page.

CodeRewards
UPD3.0!100 Trait Shards, 1.5k Gems
FreeTanjiroEvo1 Tanjaros Nichirin, 15 Demon Blood Crystal, 7.5k Gold, 1 Warding Mask, 65 Lightning Stone, 200 Spirit Elixir
COMETOMERIKA3 Perfect Prism, 30 Prism

A successful redemption shows the reward confirmation and drops the items straight into your inventory. If a code fails, check for typos and case, since these codes are case-sensitive.

How to beat the Shibuya (Destroyed) Raid (Yuto)

Shibuya (Destroyed) is the corrupted-stage Raid map. Yuto (Curse Spirit) is the boss, with 60M HP sitting behind a 15M shield.

From the lobby, open stage selection and choose the Shibuya (Destroyed) Raid.
Set the difficulty to Hard for the full reward payout, then start the run.
Deploy your team and clear the enemy waves, keeping your carry protected so it stays alive into the boss phase.
When Yuto appears, burn through the 15M shield first. His main 60M health bar only takes damage once the shield is gone, so hold your Ultimate ([X]) for the moment the shield breaks.
Keep focus fire on Yuto until the health bar empties. The clear screen and raid rewards confirm the win.

How to beat the Melovelent Shrine Invasion (Sakuna)

The Melovelent Shrine is the Invasion map, and it hits harder than the Raid. Sakuna (Curse) has a straight 100M HP pool with no shield, so this fight is a pure damage race against the timer.

Return to the lobby and open stage selection ([C]), then pick the Melovelent Shrine Invasion.
Start the Invasion and place your highest-damage units in lanes that cover the enemy path early.
Prioritize Sakuna the moment the boss spawns. With 100M HP and no shield to strip, every point of damage counts, so keep your carry’s uptime high and fire Ultimates on cooldown.
Chip the 100M pool down before the wave timer runs out. Clearing Sakuna finishes the Invasion and returns you to the results screen.

Note: If you fall short on either boss, it is almost always a damage problem. Upgrade your gear with Prisms, reroll better traits with your shards, and re-run at a comfortable difficulty before pushing Hard.

Unlocking Yuto through the “Vow” quest

Clearing the Shibuya (Destroyed) Raid also feeds the “Vow” Special Quest line, which unlocks Yuto as a playable unit once every task is finished. The tasks span raids, awakenings, and corrupted stages, so plan to farm alongside your boss runs.

TaskRequirement
Raid DestroyerBeat Shibuya (Destroyed) Raid 100 times
The Sworn TwoAwaken 2 Sorcerer units
Rot and RuinClear any Corrupted Stage
Crimson ThreefoldClear a Corrupted Stage with 3 or more modifiers
Boundless DevotionDeal 100M damage with Yuto

Every task tracks its own counter, so you can watch progress tick up in the Special Quests menu. Once all five are complete, the “Vow” line marks as finished and Yuto joins your roster, which in turn lets you satisfy the Boundless Devotion damage task and any further Yuto-based objectives.
