Anime Vanguards Reworked Omni Tower Solo: How Far a Jinwoo Team Gets

The Omni Tower in Anime Vanguards has been rebuilt, and the new version looks very different for anyone playing alone. In a solo run with a fully upgraded Transcendent Sung Jinwoo, listed in game as “True Shadow Monarch,” the player climbs from Floor 11 to Floor 308 in steps of 11. They don’t fail a single wave, and no boss’s health bar causes a problem along the way. The more useful question is what the rework changed to make that possible, and what a team needs to look like to do the same.

Quick answer: A maxed Transcendent Sung Jinwoo team clears every tested Normal floor up to Floor 308 solo. Most stages end in under four minutes, and there is no visible limit to how far it can go.

What changed in the Omni Tower rework

Two changes shape how the tower plays now. The first is that the tower skill tree is gone. The old tower made players grind that tree, roughly to Level 20, before their units were strong enough to push higher. The reworked tower handles unit power and baseline stats on its own. You enter, and your team is already scaled for the floor.

The other adjustment gives solo and multiplayer separate balance settings. When you play alone, multiplayer scaling and the modifiers that previously penalized solo players are no longer applied. Each floor is tuned to challenge one player, rather than a full lobby.

Together, these changes mean progress in the tower depends almost entirely on how strong your roster already is. Hours spent inside the mode matter much less than they used to.

The Transcendent Sung Jinwoo build behind the run

The Jinwoo in the run is Level 60, with Transcendent and Monarch rarity tags. He has a Memoria setup and the Birb familiar equipped. Every one of his 100 stat points goes into Damage. The rest of the kit is built around critical hits and boosting the shadows he summons.

  • Weapon: Daggers of Destruction, a Mythic that raises Crit Rate by 100% and makes attacks deal 30% more damage.
  • Bloodlust (Lv. 10): applies bleed damage.
  • Mutilation (Lv. 10): a guaranteed crit with +100% crit damage.
  • Ruler’s Authority (Lv. 10): slows enemies by 50% and makes them take 50% more damage for 10 seconds.
  • Monarch class: Shadow Damage +10%, Shadow Placement and Upgrade Cost -10%, Chained Upgrade Discount -2%, and Empowered Monarch’s Domain Active.

The roster also includes Dragon’s Wrath, another Mythic weapon, which lets damage bypass Damage Reduction. It is not the weapon Jinwoo uses here, though.

Shadow summons, orbs and passives

Six shadows fill out the team. Each one has an orb and two passives equipped, and every shadow except the Healer uses the Orb of Speed.

ShadowOrbPassivesRole
HealerOrb of Cost2 and 4Cost reduction, buffs
Ant KingOrb of Speed6 and 7Speed, AoE bleed
Shadow BruteOrb of Speed1 and 5Overcrit damage support
Shadow Commander (Igris)Orb of Speed3 and 7Crit rate, meter gain
Shadow Dragon (Kaisel)Orb of Speed2 and 7Repositioning, buffs
Shadow FishmanOrb of Speed3 and 5Slow, cost reduction

The Healer is the only economy piece on the team. It generates Yen and also cuts upgrade costs, which is why it gets the cost orb instead of a speed orb. The other five are tuned to attack faster and stack with Jinwoo’s crit damage.

How a solo Omni Tower floor plays out with this team

Every floor follows almost the same pattern. Jinwoo goes down at the start of the track, and the Healer goes down soon after so Yen starts flowing and upgrades get cheaper right away. From there, chained auto-upgrades push both the Healer and Jinwoo to max for less than buying each upgrade one at a time would cost. The Monarch class discount on chained upgrades adds to that saving.

The shadows are then placed close together and near Jinwoo. The Monarch’s area buffs and the shadows’ linked passives only pay off when the units sit within range of each other, so a tight cluster is the whole point.

Bosses arrive on Wave 20. That is when Jinwoo’s two active abilities come in. Grasp of the Monarch works as a nuke. Form of the Monarch switches Jinwoo into a manual control mode where the player can spam attacks directly. Between the two, boss health pools disappear quickly, and stages wrap up in under four minutes.

Omni Tower floors 11 to 308: maps and bosses

Every floor in the run is the Normal version, and each one is 11 floors above the last. The maps rotate through a small set, including Shibuya Station, Frozen Port, Hidden Village, Flower Country, Underground Church, Edge of Heaven, Hill of Swords and Double Dungeon. Some of them show up again and again at higher floors.

Floors 11, 22, 33 and 44 are cleared too. On those early floors, the run is mostly used to show off how chained upgrades work and what the missing skill tree means in practice.

Hidden Village shows up four times and brings Agony Shinobi with it at both Floor 110 and Floor 286. The fight looks about the same at either height.

Dagon is the boss that best shows the team’s damage ceiling. On Floor 198, he goes down almost as soon as Wave 20 starts. At Floor 242, the same boss gets the full Form of the Monarch treatment.

Double Dungeon bookends the late part of the climb. Mace Statue is the boss on both Floor 253 and the final tested floor, 308, and neither fight takes long.

Omni Tower rewards seen on solo clears

Clear screens across the run show a consistent pool of drops:

  • Trait Rerolls
  • Gems
  • Cake Slices
  • Stat Chip
  • Phoenix Shard
  • Corruption Crystal

For a sense of scale, the account running these floors is player level 985 and sits on more than 6.4 million Gems. That is not a fresh profile, and the team reflects that.

What the run means for solo Omni Tower scaling

Floor 308 is where the run stops, not where the team breaks. Nothing on any tested floor pushes back. That is how the reworked tower now treats a top-tier Transcendent setup in solo, since there is no skill tree to grind and no multiplayer scaling to work against. A team at this level can keep climbing more or less indefinitely.

Every number here comes from a fully maxed Jinwoo with Lv. 10 attacks, a Mythic weapon and six tuned shadows. Weaker rosters will hit a wall somewhere, and where that happens depends on the units you own.

For solo players, the takeaway is simple. The Omni Tower no longer asks you to build up power inside the mode. It measures the power you already have, and a maxed True Shadow Monarch has plenty of it.
