Arc Raiders: Best Epoxy Bucket Farming Spots on Pendola Pass

Every Epoxy Bucket spawns on one map, and a handful of rooms reliably drop the three you need for the Outpost.

Every Epoxy Bucket spawns on one map, and a handful of rooms reliably drop the three you need for the Outpost.

The Epoxy Bucket is one of the materials tied to the Outpost that arrived with Arc Raiders: Frozen Trail, and it is easy to walk straight past. It is a Rare recyclable that sits quietly on shelves, seats, and desks, so unless you know which buildings to sweep, you can finish a full raid without ever seeing one.

Quick answer: Epoxy Buckets spawn only on Pendola Pass. Farm the Cielo Sereno Observatory lockers, the Almatera Station shelf room, and the Railyard train cars to collect the three you need for the Outpost level 3 upgrade.

What the Epoxy Bucket is and why you need it

The Epoxy Bucket is a Rare-tier recyclable that weighs 0.5 kg and stacks up to 5. It can be broken down into crafting materials, and it sells for 1,000 Raider Coins, so other Raiders will grab it for the money even when they do not need it for a project.

You need 3 Epoxy Buckets to take your Outpost from level 2 to level 3, alongside 35 Planks and 3 Hand Drills. Because they stack to 5, all three fit in a single inventory slot with room to spare. There is no recipe or trader selling them, so looting Pendola Pass is the only way to get them.

Drop the first bucket you pick up into your Safe Pocket. If you are eliminated before extraction, it stays with you instead of going to the Raider who downs you.

Where Epoxy Buckets spawn

The Pendola Pass loot pool includes Epoxy Buckets; older maps have none. Their spawn areas are Industrial, Mechanical, and Exodus, so search the Railyard, Railroad Junction, Loading Platforms, Cielo Sereno Observatory, and Deep-Space Telescope.

Buckets are generally found lying in the open. Inspect shelves, tables and seats in train cars, plus consoles, desks, and counters. Lockers and suitcases are also worth searching as containers. For a dedicated search, skip fridges, freezers, cash registers, and vending machines: they never hold buckets.

At the start of each raid, some Pendola Pass areas appear yellow or red on the map; the marked locations rotate every time. Yellow areas offer improved loot, while red ones provide both more loot and better quality. If your planned destination is marked red, the extra risk is worth taking.

Best Epoxy Bucket locations on Pendola Pass

These locations give you the highest number of chances to find a bucket. Loot quality varies from round to round, so if your first destination comes up empty, continue to the next rather than waiting for a respawn.

Cielo Sereno Observatory

In the map’s north-east corner, the observatory occupies the summit and provides one of the most reliable searches. First sweep the main room’s couches and tables; next, enter the side room containing the weapon crate. Buckets spawn in that room’s lockers, which often yield two in one run. Nearby maintenance tunnels are dense with breachable containers, toolboxes, and black crates; a thorough pass can produce two to three buckets per visit.

Bring a grappling hook, snap hook, or zipline so you can enter the building without using the door, which keeps you clear of the ARC waiting on the other side of it.

Almatera Station

Of all the map’s areas, Almatera Station offers the most bucket spawn points. Head to the station building’s second floor for the top room: enter via the main entrance, go up the escalators, and you’ll find metal shelves filling the room. Search each row, and check the trash container as well, since it has a strong bucket drop chance. Many breachable objects around the station cannot yield buckets, so prioritize the shelf room and parked trains instead of searching everything.

Railyard, Freight Terminal, and Controlled Receiving Facility

The Railyard is divided into three sections, but two are useful for buckets. On the east side, the large structure contains an open office and a few small rooms; buckets frequently appear in the open on chairs, desks, or tables. Check around the desks as well as their tops. Also search the open trains to the south: buckets can be among the luggage, inside the cars, or in breachable metal boxes.

The nearby Freight Terminal and Controlled Receiving Facility follow the same pattern. Buckets tend to sit loose on seats and tables inside the passenger cars, and at the Controlled Receiving Facility you will also find them in desk drawers. Parked train cars are quick wins in general, since each bay has a table and seats to glance over as you walk the aisle.

Storm Huts during a Flash Freeze

Storm Huts open only while a Flash Freeze is active. When the storm rolls in, watch your map for a white tent icon, which marks the shelter that has opened. These huts are loaded with high-tier loot and almost always include an Epoxy Bucket, but they are extremely high traffic. Nearly everyone on the map rushes them the moment the first freeze hits, so they are not a reliable farm on their own.

If a storm starts and you are already close to a hut, drop what you are doing and go. If you have to cross the map for it, expect a fight and plan accordingly.

Confirming the Outpost upgrade

After extracting with three buckets, open the Outpost and begin its level 3 upgrade. Starting the project uses up the buckets, so keep any extras until the upgrade is completely paid for. A bucket that you sold or recycled won’t count, and the only Outpost use currently listed for this material is the level 2-to-3 upgrade. Each bucket weighs only 0.5 kg, so keep any extras as you work toward later projects.
