ARC Raiders Season 4 Trials: Three-Star Strategy for Every Weekly Challenge (April 29, 2026)

Season 4 Trials in ARC Raiders went live on April 29, 2026, the day after the Riven Tides update reshaped the topside experience. Embark Studios used the season transition to overhaul how Trials work: Major Map Conditions no longer double point gains, challenges aren't gated to specific weather events, and the rotation now folds in the Riven Tides coastal map alongside the new Turbine ARC.

Quick answer: Score 4,000 points on a single extracted raid to earn three stars on a challenge. Stars unlock at 1,000 (uncommon), 2,500 (rare), and 4,000 (epic) points. Death wipes that raid's progress, so extraction is mandatory.

Week 26 challenge list and point thresholds

The first Season 4 rotation runs from April 29 through May 4, 2026. Five challenges are active, and each one bands its rewards across the same point thresholds.

StarsPointsReward tier
1 ★1,000Random uncommon item or blueprint
2 ★★2,500Random rare item or blueprint
3 ★★★4,000Random epic item or blueprint

The five active challenges are Loot ARC Enemies, Damage ARC Enemies Using Light Impact Grenades, Search Supply Drops, Open Containers Inside the Hotel, and Damage Turbines. Only one of those (the hotel) is locked to a specific map.

Loot ARC Enemies

Searching destroyed ARC husks awards points scaled to enemy size. You don't have to land the killing blow yourself, so reaching for already-downed husks counts. Bigger ARCs pay out far more per interaction.

ARC typePoints per loot
Tick, Pop, Fireball~100
Snitch, Wasp, Spotter, Turret, Comet~200
Hornet, Rocketeer, Firefly, Shredder~250
ARC Surveyor, Sentinel~300
Bastion, Bombardier~500
Leaper, Vaporizer~600
Queen, Matriarch~1,000

Blue Gate and Spaceport are strong picks because they spawn a heavy mix of small and mid-tier ARCs without forcing you to commit to a single boss fight. A loadout built around an Anvil or Ferro paired with a PvP secondary handles most encounters cleanly. Adrenaline Shots are useful for cutting travel time between husks across larger POIs.

Hitting 4,000 points usually means downing roughly 16 small ARCs, or mixing in a Bastion or Bombardier to shortcut the count. Extract the moment you cross the threshold instead of pushing for leaderboard inflation.

Damage ARC Enemies Using Light Impact Grenades

Light Impact Grenades craft cheaply at the Explosives station and stack quickly. Each one needs 2 Plastic Parts and 3 Chemicals. Apollo also sells them in Speranza without a purchase cap, which is the faster route if your workshop is light on materials.

Big targets are the most efficient way to convert grenade throws into points. A Bombardier or Bastion takes multiple direct hits before going down, and each impact registers damage progress. Larger ARCs reportedly yield around 300 points per grenade on smaller targets and substantially more per throw on heavy ARCs, with 10 to 12 grenades on a big ARC enough to clear three stars.

Bring six stacks (30 grenades) to a map with reliable miniboss spawns. Throw from cover, especially against the Bastion, which can be temporarily stunned by destroying one of its legs. Avoid wasting grenades on Ticks or Pops since the per-throw return is too low to justify the resource cost.

Search Supply Drops

Each searched supply drop awards 1,600 Trial points. Three drops in one raid is enough for the full three stars. Supply Call Stations exist on every topside map, but Dam Battlegrounds packs the most spawn points into a single rotation, making it the fastest grind.

Not every station spawns a callable flare per raid, so plan a route that hits multiple POIs in sequence. Once you trigger a flare, the crate parachutes down and takes about a minute to land. Stay nearby because other Raiders will hear and contest the drop.

📍
Reliable Supply Call Station POIs by map: Dam Battlegrounds (Hydrophonic Dome Complex, Pipeline Tower, Old Battlegrounds, Primary Facility, Water Treatment, Testing Annex, Red Lakes); Buried City (Plaza Rosa, Piazza Arbusto, Research, Parking Garage, Library, Grandioso Apartments); Spaceport (Fuel Lines, Departure Building, Arrival Building, Container Storage, Control Tower A6, Vehicle Maintenance, North Trench Tower, South Trench Tower, Shipping Warehouse); Blue Gate (Warehouse Complex, Gate Control Room, Pilgrim's Peak, Maintenance Bunker, Village, Adorned Wreckage, Broken Earth).

Open Containers Inside the Hotel

The hotel challenge is the only one locked to Riven Tides. Hotel Panorama Azzurro sits on the resort side of the map, and every container inside the building yields 200 Trial points. To clear three stars, search at least 20 hotel containers.

Step 1: Drop into Riven Tides and head straight for Hotel Panorama Azzurro. Approach through the southern stairwell to avoid the open beach lanes where Wasps patrol.

Step 2: Sweep each guest room, kitchen area, and rooftop bar systematically. Only containers that are part of the hotel itself count, so don't waste time on ARC husks. Trash bins on adjacent balconies and breached vehicles outside the hotel can also register progress.

Step 3: Watch for Pops, Fireballs, and Shredders inside the hallways, with Ticks concentrated near the cafeteria. A Bettina or Renegade with a medium shield handles the interior threats. Wolfpacks are a useful optional throw for clustered enemies.

Step 4: After hitting 4,000 points, exit through the southern stairwell and route to the Customs elevator for extraction.

Damage Turbines

The Turbine is a new aerial miniboss introduced with Riven Tides. It deploys a minefield around its landing zone and carries hard exterior armor that absorbs damage before you can reach the inner cores. Damage dealt is what scores; you don't need to destroy the Turbine to bank progress.

The Jupiter is the standout weapon here, with each shot landing roughly 150 points against a Turbine. Seven to eight Jupiter magazines is generally enough to clear three stars. The Hullcracker IV and Bettina IV are solid alternatives, and an Equalizer pairs well for finishing the inner cores once exposed.

Run Riven Tides during Night Raid for the best Turbine sightings, ideally in the back half of the match clock. Wait for the Turbine to land, then push close enough to expose its supports while skirting the minefield. Hit the yellow cores at close range with a Bettina, then retreat to cover when it lifts off and switch to a Jupiter for ranged shots. Cycle between landings until you cross 4,000 points.

⚠️
The Turbine's laser attacks can drop you quickly. Always engage from inside a building or behind hard cover, and bring Surge Shield Rechargers plus a healing source like Vitashot or Herbal Bandages.

Verifying progress and ranking up

Open the Logbook and switch to the Trials tab mid-raid to confirm point totals after each interaction. Stars only finalize once you extract successfully, so a 3,500-point death is worth nothing while a clean 1,000-point extraction banks the first reward.

Leaderboard placement at the end of the week determines rank movement within your 100-Raider pool. Finishing in positions 1 to 30 earns a 2x promotion, 31 to 60 earns 1x, and 61 to 100 holds your current rank. Season 4 also adds Cantina Legend as a new top rank above Hotshot, with exclusive Recon Outfit colorways tied to the highest tiers.

The Trials reset on May 4, 2026, when Week 27's challenges replace this rotation. Until then, the most efficient path is to dedicate one raid to the Hotel objective on Riven Tides, one to Supply Drops on Dam, and combine the remaining three challenges across Blue Gate or Spaceport runs, depending on which ARCs spawn most reliably for you.
