Archangel Race in Sailor Piece: Divine Trials Unlock Guide

Archangel Race in Sailor Piece: Divine Trials Unlock Guide

The Archangel race is a secret evolution of the mythical Angel race in Sailor Piece, unlocked through a three-part quest called the Divine Trials. The questline lives on Blue Planet Island in Sea Two and is gated behind two strict conditions, so progress only counts when both are met.

Quick answer: Equip the Angel race, travel to Blue Planet Island in Sea Two, talk to the Celestial Guide NPC, and complete all three Divine Trials (5 secret drops, 4 map halos, 3 boss halos). Return to the Celestial Guide with Angel equipped to evolve into Archangel.

Requirements before starting the Archangel questline

Two prerequisites must be true at the same time, or the Celestial Guide will not advance your quest. Both are checked while you play, not only when you talk to the NPC.

  • Sea Two must be unlocked on your account.
  • The Angel race (mythical) must be rolled and equipped during every trial step.

If you do not own Angel, open the race roll settings, turn on the race skip filter, and disable every race except Angel. Then spend race rolls until Angel lands. Equipping a different race mid-quest, even briefly, can cause drops and pickups to not count.

Start the Divine Trials at the Celestial Guide NPC

Teleport to Blue Planet Island on Sea Two. From the portal, head to the right side of the island. The Celestial Guide NPC stands there and gives the Divine Trials quest line. Talking to this NPC with Angel equipped opens all three trials at once, which can be progressed in any order.

Divine Trial 1: Collect 5 secret drops with Angel equipped

Step 1: Build for luck and equip the Angel race. Higher luck increases the rate of Aura Crates, Cosmetic Crates, and Secret Chests, which are the three drop types that count as secret drops for this trial.

Step 2: Farm NPCs on Blue Planet Island, or use a high-density spot such as the Ice Queen farm on Starter Island, to grind kills until secret drops appear. The Secret Chest is the most common of the three types.

Step 3: If farming stalls, teleport to Punch Island and visit the Crystal Defense Merchant NPC. You can also use the Boss Rush or Tower shops. Buying a same-server Aura Crate, Cosmetic Crate, or Secret Chest counts toward the trial. The Secret Chest is the cheapest option.

The quest tracker updates from 0/5 to 5/5 as drops are obtained. Trial 1 is complete once the counter hits 5.

Divine Trial 2: Find 4 hidden map halos

The second trial requires four distinct halos placed around the world: Humility, Kindness, Temperance, and Self-Respect. They spawn at fixed points but despawn and respawn on a timer, so server hopping is the fastest method when a halo is missing.

You must collect one halo from each of the four locations. Picking up the same halo repeatedly does not count.

LocationWhere to look from the portal
Blue Planet IslandHead right from spawn, near the spawn crystal area
Punch IslandGo left from spawn, on top of the building
Starter IslandRight of the teleport, on the hill
Bizari IslandRight from the portal, toward the mountain rock
Tip: If you lose track of which halos you have collected, return to the Celestial Guide. The NPC is designed to list the halos still needed.

Divine Trial 3: Farm 3 boss halos

The final trial requires three halos that only drop from specific bosses across both Sea One and Sea Two. Each halo has two possible boss sources, and luck stat directly increases the drop chance. Keep Angel equipped during every kill, then swap loadouts only for combat stats, never the race itself.

Boss HaloDrop sources
PatienceAtomic boss (Lawless Island) or Strongest Shinobi
CharityCosmic Being or Sun Incarnate
DiligenceSpirit Warrior (Blue Planet Island) or World Boss (Bizari Island)

For Patience, Atomic on Lawless Island is the most efficient route because it can be auto-spawned and looped quickly. For Charity, Cosmic Being is reported to have a slightly higher drop rate than Sun Incarnate. For Diligence, pick whichever of Spirit Warrior or the World Boss your build clears faster.

Note: The quest entry on the side of the screen lists the exact boss sources for the halos you still need, so you can confirm targets without leaving the run.

Evolve Angel into Archangel

Once all three trials read complete in the quest log, teleport back to Blue Planet Island and speak to the Celestial Guide again with the Angel race still equipped. The dialogue ends with the Angel race upgrading to Archangel, and the race entry in your inventory changes from Angel (Mythical) to Archangel (Secret). That UI change is the confirmation that the evolution worked.

If the NPC repeats trial dialogue instead of evolving, the most common causes are a different race being equipped at the moment of interaction or a trial counter still short by one. Switch back to Angel, verify all three trial counters show as complete, and retalk to the NPC.

Re-claiming Archangel after losing it

If you lose Archangel through a re-roll or race change, you do not need to repeat the Divine Trials. Equip the Angel race again, return to the Celestial Guide on Blue Planet Island, and interact with it. The NPC restores Archangel instantly because the trial completion is stored on your account.

Archangel grants two extra jumps, +100% damage, +50% drop chance (double drop), +22 melee damage, +22 sword damage, and a 55% luck multiplier, which is what makes the multi-hour grind through the Divine Trials worthwhile for endgame farming and PvP builds.
