Anotto Bay sits in the northeast of Charlotte at map coordinates 590, 245 in Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Resynced. It holds three trackable collectibles, made up of two underwater chests and one secret chest, along with a separate treasure dig spot that ties into the Crimson Cloak outfit.

Quick answer: Dive into Anotto Cove to grab both money chests, clear the enemy-filled mineshaft to earn the Smuggler’s Chest Key for the Weathered Map Piece secret, then dig near the boxes in the southwest cave to complete the Warehouse Treasure Map.

Underwater Chest 1/2 location

Follow the path leading into Anotto Cove until you reach the first intersection. Take the path on the left, then take your first left again.

A shark charges you in this hall. Evade its attack, then swim to the chest sitting behind where the shark came from to collect the money reward.

Secret chest (Weathered Map Piece)

Continue through the underwater tunnels until you surface inside a mineshaft crowded with enemies.

Defeat every enemy in the mineshaft. Clearing them all drops the Anotto Bay Smuggler’s Chest Key.

Use the key to open the chest and claim the Weathered Map Piece. This is the single secret listed for the region.

Underwater Chest 2/2 location

Head into Anotto Cove and keep going until the underwater mines block your forward path.

Take the left turn, then an immediate right. Watch for a bubble stream and a ladder.

Swim up at the ladder to reach the second money chest. Grabbing it clears all three tracked collectibles for the area.

Warehouse Treasure Map dig spot and the Crimson Cloak

Anotto Bay is also the payout point for the Warehouse Treasure Map. First, loot the warehouse in Havana at coordinates 205, 600 to pick up the map itself. Then sail to Anotto Bay in the northeast of Charlotte.

Go to the southwest of Anotto Bay and enter the cave. The digging spot sits next to a stack of boxes. Digging it up rewards 2,000 Reales and the Crimson Cloak outfit.

Note: The treasure dig is separate from the three map-tracked collectibles, so completing it does not count toward the region’s collectible total, but it is the only way to earn the Crimson Cloak.

Once the two money chests and the Smuggler’s Chest secret are logged on your map, Anotto Bay reads as 100% complete for collectibles. Add the Warehouse Treasure Map dig in the same trip, and you walk away with the money, the Weathered Map Piece, and the Crimson Cloak in one visit.
