Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced ships with a full achievement set built around Edward Kenway’s Caribbean, splitting its objectives across land combat, naval battles, the Great Inagua settlement, and open-world exploration. Most of the requirements are straightforward once you know what triggers them, and a handful only appear as you push through the campaign.
Quick answer: There are 49 achievements worth 1,000 gamerscore. 42 have visible unlock conditions, and 7 stay hidden until you hit specific story beats. None require multiplayer, so every one can be earned in a single-player playthrough.

Combat and stealth achievements
These come from specific kills, parries, and takedowns during on-foot fights. Many are one-time triggers you can set up deliberately rather than grind.

| The Hangman | Kill 10 enemies by hanging them with the rope dart |
| Caught ‘Em All | Catch at least five enemies in a single smoke bomb |

Add to Google Preferences →Naval and Jackdaw achievements
The bulk of the harder unlocks live at sea. A powerful, well-upgraded Jackdaw makes most of them faster, and a few depend on ship upgrades you cannot skip.
| Achievement | How to unlock |
|---|---|
| Ship This | Fully upgrade the Jackdaw |
| Devil of the Caribbean | Defeat all legendary ships |
| Old Ironsides | Perform three perfect braces |
| Not So Little Friend | Unlock the secondary firing mode on a Jackdaw weapon |
| Dressing Overall | Equip new cosmetics in each of the Jackdaw’s vanity slots |
| Collective Madness | Add one of each ship class to Kenway’s fleet |
| Strike The Colors | Board a Lead Convoy ship |
| Unsinkable | Survive a rogue wave taken from the side |
| Return The Favor | Dash ram a ramming Brig |
| Hunter Hunted | Defeat a Pirate Hunter at maximum Wanted level |

Settlement, collection, and economy achievements
Great Inagua is the hub for several completion trophies, and a few more come from spending money, crafting, and clearing map objectives. Starting these early spreads the work out instead of leaving a long grind for the endgame.
| Achievement | How to unlock |
|---|---|
| King of the Castle | Capture all forts |
| Governor | Restore all buildings in the Great Inagua village |
| Dilettante | Fill all Art Collection and Equipment slots in the Great Inagua manor |
| The Memory of My Enemy | Display all character portraits in the Great Inagua manor |
| All Hands On Deck | Recruit all Officers |
| Zero Waste | Restore a map from map pieces |
| Grandmaster | Win at each of the different tavern games |
| Among Thieves | Unlock a smuggler’s chest |
| Seven Deadly Seas | Find all treasure chests in underwater shipwrecks |
| Smooth Operator | Craft an item |
| Business And Pleasure | Spend 50,000 Reales |
Exploration and miscellaneous achievements
The rest reward you for covering the whole map, diving deep, and poking at the world’s smaller systems. Several tick up naturally as you travel, so there is rarely a need to farm them.
| Achievement | How to unlock |
|---|---|
| Cartographer | Visit every location in the game |
| Owned | Complete every activity in a single location |
| Davy Jones’ Locker | Swim to the lowest point on the map |
| Ed the Diver | Swim 1,000m underwater, excluding underwater shipwrecks |
| Friend To All | Interact with all seven friendly animals |
| Glutton for Nourishment | Consume 20 food items |
| Yo Ho… | Learn a new shanty |
| Edward Catway | Break 50 potted plants |

Hidden achievements and story milestones
Seven achievements stay hidden until you reach the moments that trigger them, and they are tied to campaign progression rather than optional activities. Lively Havana is visible but sits in the same story flow, so it is listed here for context. You cannot miss the campaign-locked ones as long as you finish the memories they are attached to.
| Achievement | Trigger |
|---|---|
| Lively Havana | Get a tour of Havana (Sequence 2, Memory 1) |
| A Poxy Bird | Captain your own ship (Sequence 2, Memory 6) |
| Walls That Hold Back The Wind | Settle in a new home (Sequence 4, Memory 1) |
| In A World Without Gold | Witness the end of a legend (Sequence 8, Memory 1) |
| Ever A Splinter | Stop a Templar plot (Sequence 12, Memory 5) |
| Last To Leave | Take a seat on a burning ship |
| Hungover | Wake up in a haystack |
| Blow The Man Down | Shoot down all the hanging bodies in Long Bay |

Fastest route to 100 percent
The most efficient path is to build progress into your normal playthrough instead of saving cleanup for after the credits. A few habits handle the biggest time sinks.
Note: There is no multiplayer component, so you can take multiple playthroughs if needed and there is no risk of a permanently missable online trophy.
