Jaguars are one of the land predators you hunt across the Caribbean in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, and they show up at a handful of fixed spots on the map. Track one down, take it out, and you walk away with a crafting material you’ll reuse across several recipes.

Quick answer: Hunt a jaguar at Cape Bonavista (152,594), Sacrifice Island (18,548), Tulum (33,385), or Charlotte (496,227). Killing one drops a Jaguar Pelt.

Any of these will do if you just need the drop, so pick whichever is closest to where you already are.

What a jaguar drops

A killed jaguar drops a Jaguar Pelt. This is a crafting material, and it feeds into various recipes throughout the game, so it’s worth stocking up whenever you pass one of the four hunting grounds.

You’ll know the hunt worked when the pelt is added to your inventory after the animal goes down. If nothing drops, the jaguar likely hasn’t been killed yet, so finish it off before you loot.

White Jaguar location and drop

There’s also a rarer White Jaguar, and it doesn’t share the four standard jaguar spots. You’ll find it at a single hunting ground.

Killing the White Jaguar drops a White Jaguar Pelt, a separate crafting material that also slots into recipes across the game. Since there’s only one spawn, plan your route to Great Inagua if you specifically need the white variant.
