Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Editions, Pricing, and Pre-Order Bonuses

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Editions, Pricing, and Pre-Order Bonuses

Edward Kenway's return to the Caribbean has a price tag attached to it now. Ubisoft has opened pre-orders for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced across four distinct editions, each carrying different combinations of digital cosmetics, physical goodies, and in-game weapon packs. The remake sails on July 9, 2026, for PS5, PS5 Pro, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Quick answer: Pre-ordering the Standard ($59.99) or Deluxe ($69.99) Edition grants the Blackbeard Crimson pack, which includes a pistol, sword, and costume for Edward. The Collector's Edition ($199.99) includes that pack automatically, plus a 31cm figurine and physical collectibles.

Editions compared at a glance

Four editions are on the table, and the content split between them is worth studying before you commit. The Launch Edition is a physical-only retail release, while the Deluxe Edition is digital-only. Standard is sold both ways, and the Collector's Edition comes with a disc on consoles but a digital code on PC.

Standard Edition ($59.99)

The base package. You get the full game and nothing else unless you pre-order. A physical disc version exists for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S through local retailers, while PC buyers get a digital copy through Ubisoft Connect, Steam, or the Epic Games Store. This is the cheapest route in, but also the least interesting one on its own.

Pre-ordering Standard unlocks the Blackbeard Crimson pack, which is the only bonus cosmetic content you'll see at this tier.

Deluxe Edition ($69.99)

Sold only as a digital copy, the Deluxe Edition layers two cosmetic bundles on top of the base game. The Master Assassin Character pack includes a sword, pistol, trinket, and costume for Edward, each weapon carrying a unique perk. The Master Assassin Naval pack reskins the Jackdaw with a new sail set, wheel, figurehead, hull trim, crew attire, and a ship's pet.

Like the Standard Edition, pre-ordering Deluxe adds the Blackbeard Crimson pack on top of those two bundles.

Collector's Edition ($199.99)

This is where Ubisoft concentrates the collectible material. On PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, the game ships on disc; on PC, you'll find a digital code in the box instead.

Inside:

  • A 31cm (12-inch) Edward Kenway figurine posed on the deck of the Jackdaw
  • Edward's leather-bound logbook with in-universe maps and writings
  • A metal Assassin insignia brooch
  • An exclusive Steelbook with Collector's Edition artwork
  • A printed sea shanty music sheet
  • Digital downloads of the Master Assassin Character pack, Master Assassin Naval pack, and Blackbeard's Crimson pack

The Collector's Edition rolls every cosmetic bundle into one purchase, so you don't need to pre-order to get the Crimson pack at this tier — it's included by default.

Launch Edition ($59.99)

The Launch Edition is a physical-only retail release available through participating local retailers. It matches the Standard Edition's price but trades digital Deluxe content for tangible extras: a 34-page artbook, a double-sided world map poster, and a digital download code for the Blackbeard Crimson pack.

Availability varies by region, so stock depends on your retailer. In Germany, for example, MediaMarkt and Saturn carry a version that ships with an exclusive Steelbook case at the same $59.99 price point.

What's in the Blackbeard Crimson pre-order pack

The pre-order bonus is identical across the Standard and Deluxe Editions, and it's bundled automatically with the Launch and Collector's Editions. Three items:

  • Crimson Sword — carries a unique perk
  • Crimson Pistol — carries a unique perk
  • Crimson Costume for Edward

The specific perks haven't been detailed publicly yet. If you skip pre-ordering the Standard or Deluxe version, this pack won't be available to you at launch unless you upgrade to the Collector's or Launch edition.

Where to pre-order

Pre-orders opened on April 23, 2026, across every supported platform. The edition you want narrows down where to buy it.

Step 2: Pick the edition you want. On digital storefronts, you'll only see Standard, Deluxe, and Collector's; the Launch Edition requires a physical retailer.

Step 3: Complete the transaction. Pre-ordered games appear in your library on July 9, 2026, and the Blackbeard Crimson pack unlocks at launch as a digital download tied to your account.

Ubisoft+ subscription access

If you'd rather not buy outright, Black Flag Resynced will be included with a Ubisoft+ subscription on PC. Subscribers typically get access to Deluxe-tier content while the subscription is active, though you won't own the game or keep the cosmetics if you cancel.

Which edition makes sense for you

If you just want the game, the Standard Edition with a pre-order locks in the Crimson pack at the lowest price. For players who care about cosmetic weapon variety and ship customization, the Deluxe Edition's $10 premium is the only way to get the Master Assassin packs short of buying the Collector's box. The Launch Edition is worth considering only if you want the artbook and poster and prefer a disc.

The Collector's Edition is the most expensive by a wide margin, and its value depends entirely on how much the 31cm Kenway statue, Steelbook, and leather logbook mean to you. Every digital cosmetic in it is also available through the Deluxe Edition, plus a pre-order at roughly a third of the cost.

Blackbeard's Crimson pack is tied to pre-orders on the Standard and Deluxe editions. If you wait until after July 9 to buy either of those, you'll miss the pack unless Ubisoft offers it separately later.
