Battlefield 6 weapon tier list (Season Beta, Oct 2025)

This snapshot of the Season Beta meta organizes every primary and secondary into clear tiers and roles. If you want the short version: PW5A3 leads close-range fights, M4A1 anchors long-range engagements, and M2010 ESR tops the sniper category. Everything else falls in behind those benchmarks.

S-tier (meta picks)

These are the highest-impact choices right now. They set the pace for close-range pushes and long sightline control.

Note: “Rank in role” refers to each weapon’s position within Close Range, Long Range, or Sniper.

Pick by map and role

For small, infantry-heavy maps or tight objectives, lean on Close Range options (PW5A3, SGX, M87A1, and the A-tier SMGs). On larger maps with long sightlines, prioritize Long Range picks (M4A1, AK-205, QBZ-192, DRS-IAR) and snipers (M2010 ESR foremost). If you’re filling a support lane or locking down lanes, the higher-ranked LMGs in S- and A-tier provide reliable pressure.

Balance will continue to shift, but the S-tier here is the safest baseline: PW5A3 for close fights, M4A1 for distance, and M2010 ESR for precision. Everything else is a tradeoff in handling, range, or consistency—choose by map size, role, and the specific lanes you plan to control.
