Bedside Manner is a co-op hospital horror game on Roblox from creator Tween2Worlds. Its first chapter, St. Aldous, runs about 13 minutes on a clean solo run. It takes place in two parts. The first is a locked-down hospital ward built around a chain of item puzzles. The second is an outdoor courtyard where a pale, long-limbed creature hunts you while you power up four generators.
Quick answer: Collect the hammer, keys, access card and crowbar, enter keypad code 7690, pry the exit open, start all four generators, then go through the gate and answer the forest phone.
Bedside Manner Chapter 1: Setup, parties and lives
The story begins at St. Aldous Memorial Hospital, shut down for years. You wake in a hospital bed, unable to recall how you arrived. A woman phones from reception, tells you the floor is locked down, and directs you to Room 6. The game’s description makes clear she isn’t truly a nurse; something is copying her.

You can play alone or in a party. Parties are created from the lobby’s chapter select screen. They hold up to four players and can be set to friends only. Everyone starts with three lives. A 50 Robux purchase called “EXTRA LIFE FOR YOUR PARTY” raises that to four lives for the whole group in every match. You can start the chapter from the Bedside Manner page on Roblox.
The default PC controls are listed below. Controller and mobile layouts are also supported.
- WASD to move, Shift to sprint
- F to kick, E to interact, Q for the flashlight
- Tab opens the inventory, click throws a decoy
- Space works the generator minigame, Q leaves it
- Y/N to revive a teammate, Q/E to spectate
St. Aldous hospital items and where each one comes from
The ward is a dependency chain. Each item opens the way to the next one, and the objective text in the top right always names the current goal. Kicking is the first skill you unlock. You get it by kicking a hanging punching bag in your room, and from then on kicks break doors, boxes, planks, vent covers and one wooden mannequin. Red “EMERGENCY OPEN” wall panels clear the security doors between rooms. A few of them are hidden behind stacked boxes or boarded-over planks that you have to kick away first.
| Item | Where it is | What it opens |
|---|---|---|
| Hammer | Red toolbox in Room 5 | Wall safe, pipe valve, janitor crates |
| Keys | Wall safe (smash lock) | Control panel box to Room 6 |
| Access Card | Wooden mannequin in Room 6 | Card reader on the shutter gate |
| Crowbar | Crates in the Janitor room | Planks on the exit door |
Before you can reach the rooms, the phone call sends you to the security office to pull a red wall lever. After that, Rooms 3 and 4 each hide an emergency switch. Room 4 also holds a reel-to-reel tape describing the hospital’s evacuation. Room 5 sits behind a “DANGER: KEEP OUT” area full of debris, and its toolbox gives you the hammer. Each pickup is confirmed by an on-screen line such as “+1 Hammer”.

Room 6 has a wooden anatomical mannequin holding the access card. Its prompt reads “Kick me,” and knocking it over drops the card. The card opens a security grille into a back hallway where the final code fragment and the keypad are located.
Bedside Manner keypad code: 7690
The Janitor room is locked behind a numeric keypad, and the objective switches to “Find all the code fragments.” There are four colored paper notes spread around the ward. The order comes from the colored lights on top of the keypad, which run red, purple, green, blue. That gives the code 7690.

| Fragment | Location |
|---|---|
| Red 7 | On the floor near the beds |
| Purple 9 | Behind a vent cover you kick open |
| Green 0 | On the floor by a vending machine |
| Blue 6 | Drops after you smash a red pipe valve |
Blue 6 is the only fragment that needs the hammer, and the valve is past the shutter gate. That means you can’t finish the code until after you have the access card. Once 7690 is entered, the Janitor room opens. Its wooden crates break with the hammer, and one of them contains the crowbar.

The red exit door is barricaded with six wooden planks. Each one is removed separately with the “[E] Pry off” prompt. When the last plank is gone, the door opens to the outside and a short cutscene shows the creature for the first time.
Courtyard generators and the crawling monster
Outside, the objective becomes “Turn on all the generators (0/4).” The generators are yellow portable units labeled Smith’s Electricals. Black cables run across the ground between them, and following those cables is the most reliable way to find the next generator. The third one, for example, is deep in the dark woods. Starting a generator opens a “GENERATOR // STARTER” minigame where you press Space while a moving needle is inside the green zone. A successful hit shows “ENGINE STARTED.”

The creature is a pale, elongated humanoid that crawls along the ground and stalks you while you move between generators. If it catches you, you lose one life heart and respawn close by, near the hospital building. The game shows a loading tip that matters most here: outside, the monster runs slower than you, so sprinting away from it works. A pill bottle sits on a cardboard box next to one generator and can be picked up, but the chapter does not explain what it is for.
When the fourth generator starts, a cutscene shows the main gate powering on and swinging open. The objective changes to “Exit through the gate.” The creature keeps hunting during the run to the gate. When you make it through, the gate slams shut behind you and traps the monster inside the grounds.
Chapter 1 ending, badge and completion screen
Past the gate, a lone green office desk stands in a forest clearing with a ringing phone. Answering it plays the cliffhanger. A survivor starts talking and is cut off by a threatening voice, and then green toxic fog rolls in and the screen goes black. You can tell the run counted when these elements appear:
- The results screen displays “END OF CHAPTER 1 – MAIN STORY ENDING 1/2”.
- A tapes counter, such as “TAPES COLLECTED 3/4”
- The Roblox badge “St. Aldous – Chapter 1 Completed!”
The “1/2” means this phone ending is one of two main story endings. The tape counter shows that a full run includes four collectible tapes, and the game’s full Roblox title includes a “[SECRET END]” tag. Chapter Two appears in the lobby as locked and marked coming soon, and the game lists it as in development. No release date has been announced.
