Ben 10 Fortnite Collab: Release Date, Skins, and What to Expect

Ben 10 is crossing into Fortnite on Friday, with a skin set built around the Ultimate Alien/Alien Force era of the show. The teaser, posted by Epic Games and creators in the Epic Partner program on April 22, 2026, confirms teenage Ben wearing the Ultimatrix, with Gwen, Heatblast, Alien X, Stinkfly, and Wildmutt appearing as holograms or tie-in cosmetics.

Quick answer: The Ben 10 bundle hits the Fortnite item shop on Friday, April 24, 2026. Expect Ben and Gwen as skins, plus gliders, pickaxes, and back bling tied to classic aliens.

Release date and how to get it

The collab drops on Friday, April 24, 2026, two days after the teaser went live. Cosmetics will be sold directly through the Fortnite item shop using V-Bucks, not through a battle pass or gacha mechanic. Reports from the community point to standard crossover pricing, likely around 1,500 V-Bucks for the Ben skin bundle, though Epic has not published the final numbers.

Owning the skin is permanent once purchased. Crossover outfits typically rotate back through the shop over time, so missing the launch window does not mean losing access forever.

The art style choice: Ultimate Alien/Alien Force

The version of Ben in this collab is teenage Ben with the Ultimatrix strapped to his left wrist. That pulls directly from the Alien Force and Ultimate Alien era, which ran from 2008 to 2012 on Cartoon Network. Epic skipped the 2005 original series design (too short for Fortnite's hitbox standards), the 2016 reboot, and Omniverse.

The teenage model matters for gameplay reasons. Fortnite treats character height as a balance concern, which is why shorter characters like SpongeBob are sold as sidekicks rather than full playable skins. UAF Ben stands at a normal adult-male height, so he fits the default skin hitbox without giving players an advantage or disadvantage.

What's in the bundle

The teaser surfaces a handful of cosmetics tied to specific aliens. Heatblast and Alien X appear as Ultimatrix hologram projections, strongly suggesting they will be skin styles or emote visuals rather than standalone outfits. Wildmutt is almost certainly the kicks (shoes), and Stinkfly is widely expected to serve as a glider.

CosmeticLikely form
Ben Tennyson (UAF)Main outfit with Ultimatrix
Gwen TennysonSecondary outfit, possible Anodite style
HeatblastAlternate style or transform emote
Alien XAlternate style or transform emote
StinkflyGlider
WildmuttKicks
Kevin's carRumored vehicle tie-in

Gwen's alternate style is rumored to be her Anodite form, the glowing purple energy state she unlocks in Alien Force. Ben and Gwen will also get LEGO minifig versions for LEGO Fortnite, though the alien transformations will not translate to minifig form.

The Omnitrix mythic

The more interesting piece is a rumored mythic item that lets any player on the map use the Omnitrix, regardless of whether they own the Ben skin. Mythics in Fortnite are temporary loot items picked up in-match, so this would function like past crossover gameplay items such as the Kamehameha or Force lightsaber, not a permanent ability tied to the cosmetic.

Epic has not detailed how the transformation will work mechanically. The community expectation is a short-duration alien form that replaces your character model and attack with something themed around one of the classic ten, possibly cycling at random or letting you pick.

Transformation emotes

The teaser shows what looks like a built-in transformation emote on the Ben skin itself, similar to how Beast Boy can shift into animal forms. The most likely implementation: a short cosmetic-only emote where Ben triggers the Ultimatrix and briefly becomes Heatblast or another alien before reverting. This kind of emote is purely visual and does not affect gameplay, hitboxes, or combat stats.

Whether the transformation sticks (like Beast Boy's gorilla form, which you can hold) or snaps back after a few seconds (like most built-in emotes) is the open question. Expect clarity on Friday when the bundle goes live.

Who voices the show

The collab uses character designs from the Alien Force/Ultimate Alien run, but for reference, the Ben 10 franchise has been voiced across multiple eras. Yuri Lowenthal voiced teenage Ben through Alien Force, Ultimate Alien, and Omniverse. The 2016 reboot replaced most of the cast, with Tara Strong taking over Ben. Epic has not confirmed whether any voice work from the show will appear in the Fortnite cosmetics.

What's not included

Kevin Levin, the third member of Ben's teenage trio, is absent from the teaser. Fans hoping for a full squad of Ben, Gwen, and Kevin will be disappointed at launch, though Epic has left room for future additions. There is also no Omniverse-style skin, no original series kid Ben, no reboot Ben, and nothing from the 2024 Dynamite comic line.

The teaser also shows the reboot-era Ben 10 logo at the end, which has become the franchise's standard branding across merchandise and comics since around 2016, even though the character designs inside are clearly UAF.

Set a reminder for Friday, April 24, 2026, when the Fortnite item shop refreshes at 7 PM ET (00:00 UTC Saturday). The Ben 10 bundle will be available from that daily rotation onward.
