Big Walk: How to Unlock All 13 Trophies

Every trophy, the exact action that triggers it, and the three you have to chase down for the Platinum.

Every trophy, the exact action that triggers it, and the three you have to chase down for the Platinum.

Big Walk carries 13 trophies on PS5, and most of them fall into your lap simply by moving through House House’s co-op world. A handful, though, sit off the main path and will not unlock unless you go looking for them. Here is exactly what each one asks for so you can plan a clean run to the Platinum.

Quick answer: Cross the drawbridge, visit the map, ride the chairlift and train, enter a tunnel, go beyond the wall, wear a backpack, wear something on your hip, reach the highest point, get shiny, then finish the game and completely finish it. Doing all 12 unlocks the Platinum, Big Trophy.

The set breaks down into 1 Platinum, 10 Gold, and 2 Silver. On PlayStation you also earn the Platinum for collecting everything else, which is why the PS5 total reads as 13 rather than the 12 achievements you would count on other platforms.

Big Goodbye and Big Game are the two hidden trophies, so they carry story spoilers by name alone. Everything else is visible from the start.

The trophies you earn just by playing

Most of the list rewards normal progress. Big Walk, Big View, Big Sit, Big Ride, Big Tunnel, and Big Wall are travel milestones you pass through as the world opens up. Crossing the drawbridge, opening the map, taking the chairlift and the train, stepping into a tunnel, and moving past the wall are all things the route naturally leads you toward.

Big Pack and Big Help sit close behind. You get Big Pack the moment you wear a backpack and Big Help when you equip something on your hip, so grab and wear the gear you find rather than leaving it in the world. In co-op, which is how the game is built to be played, the whole group tends to trip these unlocks together.

The three trophies you have to go out of your way for

Three trophies will not appear on autopilot. Big Climb wants you to reach the highest point in the game, which means deliberately heading up rather than pushing forward. Big Makeover asks you to get shiny, so you need to find and apply the metallic look instead of leaving your character plain. Big Game is the third, and it is the real completion check rather than the standard ending.

Treat these as a dedicated cleanup pass. If you are chasing the Platinum, confirm all three are ticked off before you consider the run done, since none of them are guaranteed by simply reaching the credits.

Big Goodbye vs Big Game: why there are two endings

The two completion trophies sound alike but do different jobs. Big Goodbye pops when you “finish the game,” which is the standard ending you reach on the main path. Big Game requires you to “completely finish the game,” a fuller conclusion tied to extra content or a route the main path does not walk you through.

For the Platinum, Big Game is the one that matters. Getting Big Goodbye alone is not enough, so make sure you push through to the complete ending and watch for the second unlock rather than stopping at the first set of credits.

Co-op scaling and how the Platinum tracks

Big Walk supports 2 to 12 players and scales its content to your group size, so you do not need a full lobby to trigger anything. That keeps the trophies just as reachable with two people as with a dozen. The milestone unlocks fire as your party clears each objective, in any order you like.

You will know a trophy landed the usual way, with the on-screen notification and the entry flipping to earned in your trophy list. Big Trophy, the Platinum, only appears once the other 12 are all marked complete. On launch day roughly 22% of players had already earned it, which points to a manageable Platinum as long as you take the time to find the wearable gear, climb to the highest point, get shiny, and reach the complete ending.

Run through the world for the travel and gear trophies, then set aside a short cleanup for Big Climb, Big Makeover, and Big Game, and the Platinum falls into place without much fuss.
