Blow up the Crowd Arc Guide - Neverness to Everness (NTE)

Blow up the Crowd Arc Guide - Neverness to Everness (NTE)

Blow up the Crowd is a free S-Rank Solid Arc in Neverness to Everness, earned by clearing the Rhythm Master Anomaly Commission in Illusion Town. It is widely treated as Haniel's signature off-field Arc because its skill, Beat King, scales the active character's ATK while the wearer sits in the back line and pushes Psyche damage when the wearer is on-field.

Quick answer: Travel to the open stage area at the end of Fiscus Avenue in Illusion Town, trigger the Rhythm Master Anomaly, defeat the Beat King by timing jumps, attacks, and dodges to the beat, and the Arc is delivered through the commission rewards.

Blow up the Crowd: Arc profile

The Arc is a Solid type weapon aimed at sub-DPS or off-field support roles. Its base ATK and ATK% substat keep it relevant from early progression through endgame loadouts.

Beat King skill effect

The skill has two halves that switch on and off depending on whether the wearer is on the field. The off-field half buffs whoever is currently active, while the on-field half rewards Psyche basic-attack play on the wearer.

StateEffect at Mixing Lv. 1
Wearer off-fieldActive character ATK +10%. Each time the wearer deals damage, active character ATK +2%, up to 4 stacks, max once every 2s. Stacks reset when the wearer becomes active.
Wearer on-fieldPsyche DMG +12%. Dealing Psyche DMG with a Basic Attack adds Psyche DMG +2% per stack, up to 10 stacks, max once every 0.3s. Stacks reset when switching characters.
Note: Higher Mixing levels scale the percentages upward (for example 14% off-field ATK and 20% Psyche DMG at Mixing Lv. 5), but the structure of the effect does not change.

How to unlock Blow up the Crowd

The Arc is tied to a single Anomaly Commission in Illusion Town. You do not need to pull on any banner to obtain it.

Step 1: Open the map and select the Anomaly Commissions screen. Locate the Rhythm Master commission in Illusion Town, situated between the Unheard Shores and Bridge Crossings districts of Hethereau.

Step 2: Travel to the open stage area at the end of Fiscus Avenue, where the road splits. As you approach, a Wertheimer Index fluctuation warning appears, and the area darkens. The Anomaly is a set of electronic music production and performance equipment placed on the stage.

Step 3: Walk up to the equipment to start the fight automatically. There is no separate Anomaly Dimension or loading transition.

Step 4: Defeat the Beat King. When the score bar beneath its HP gauge begins moving, time your jumps, basic attacks, and dodges to the beat to register clean rhythm inputs and break the boss.

Step 5: Contain the boss to finish the commission. The Arc is delivered with the Rhythm Master rewards, which also include Hunter EXP, Annulith, Fons, Silver Carrota, U-00NE, Beetle Coins, and an Anomaly Material Selection Box I.

You will know it worked when the Rhythm Master commission is marked complete on the map and Blow up the Crowd appears in your Arc inventory. Defeating the Beat King also enables Fast Travel to that point.

Other ways to get copies

Additional copies are useful for Mixing the Arc to higher levels, which improves the percentages in the Beat King effect.

  • Shop: Arc Selection, costing 25 Tri-Key per copy with a limit of 4.
  • Boss/Anomaly: Beat King encounter (after the first clear).
  • Anomaly Commission reward (initial unlock).

Best characters for Blow up the Crowd

The Arc favors Solid-type characters, and the off-field ATK buff plus Psyche-damage on-field bonus makes Haniel the standout user. Haniel can sit in reserve to feed an ATK buff to the active DPS, then swap in to spend Psyche basic attacks under the on-field bonus before swapping back out.

Tip: Because the off-field stack timer is once per 2 seconds, the wearer needs to deal damage from the back line at a steady cadence. Pair this Arc with a character whose off-field actions hit consistently rather than in a single burst.

Failure to obtain the Arc almost always traces back to one of two issues. The Rhythm Master commission has not been unlocked yet on the Anomaly Commissions screen, or the Beat King fight ended without a clean rhythm phase, leaving the boss alive. Trigger the Anomaly directly on the Fiscus Avenue stage and finish the rhythm sequence to close the commission and add Blow up the Crowd to your inventory.
