Blow Up the Crowd is a free S-rank Solid Arc in Neverness to Everness (NTE) that doubles as Haniel's signature weapon. It scales ATK and Psyche DMG through a two-part stacking system, working both as an off-field support buffer and as an on-field damage tool when paired with a Psyche basic-attack rotation.
Quick answer: Complete the Rhythm Master anomaly commission in Illusion Town by defeating the Beat King boss, then contain the anomaly to receive Blow Up the Crowd automatically.

How to unlock Blow Up the Crowd
The Arc is tied to the Rhythm Master commission, an open-world encounter you can start without long quest chains. The Beat King appears in an arena-style space near the office building at the entrance zone of Illusion Town. The fight is rhythm-based, so timing matters more than raw damage.
Step 1: Travel to Illusion Town and head to the office building area near the entrance. The arena is open and visible, so no puzzle or trigger is required to spawn the boss.
Step 2: Bring a team prepared for a level 33 fight. Upgraded modules, a reliable healer or shield character, and at least one consistent damage dealer help you survive the longer combat phases.
Step 3: Engage the Beat King and match its rhythm cues. Jump, attack, or dodge on the beat to avoid burst patterns and keep your damage windows open.
Step 4: After defeating the boss, choose to contain the anomaly. Containment is what actually awards the Arc, so do not skip the prompt.
You will see Blow Up the Crowd added to your Arc inventory once containment finishes. If it does not appear, you missed the containment step and need to re-trigger the commission.

Blow Up the Crowd stats by level
The Arc uses ATK% as its substat and reaches a base ATK of 512 at level 80. Stat growth is steady through level 70, with ATK% peaking at 27.5%.
| Level | Base ATK | ATK% Substat |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 33 | 11% |
| 20 | 137 | 13.8% |
| 30 | 203 | 16.5% |
| 40 | 269 | 19.2% |
| 50 | 336 | 22% |
| 60 | 402 | 24.8% |
| 70 | 469 | 27.5% |
| 80 | 512 | 27.5% |
Skill effect and stacking mechanics
The Arc has two independent buff layers that work in opposite roles. The first layer rewards keeping the wearer off-field as a support; the second layer rewards switching the wearer in and using basic attacks for Psyche damage.
While the wearer is off-field, the active character gains a flat ATK boost. Whenever the wearer deals damage from off-field, an additional ATK stack applies to the active character, capped at four stacks and triggering at most once every two seconds. Bringing the wearer back on-field clears those stacks.
While the wearer is on-field, Psyche DMG receives a flat boost. Each Psyche basic attack adds another Psyche DMG stack, capped at ten and triggering at most once every 0.3 seconds. Switching off the wearer resets these stacks.
Refinements (S1 through S5) raise both flat values and per-stack values. Below are the values at each rank.
| Rank | Off-field ATK | Per stack (4 max) | On-field Psyche DMG | Per stack (10 max) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| S1 | 10% | 2% | 12% | 2% |
| S2 | 11% | 2.3% | 14% | 2.3% |
| S3 | 12% | 2.6% | 16% | 2.6% |
| S4 | 13% | 2.9% | 18% | 2.9% |
| S5 | 14% | 3.2% | 20% | 3.2% |
At S1 with all stacks live, an off-field wearer hands the active character up to 18% ATK (10% flat plus 4 × 2%), while an on-field wearer reaches 32% Psyche DMG (12% flat plus 10 × 2%).

Best users for Blow Up the Crowd
The Arc is built around Haniel and remains her strongest free option because she benefits from both halves of the kit. She can sit off-field to feed the team an ATK buff, then rotate in to convert basic-attack stacks into amplified Psyche damage.
It also works on any Psyche-element character who relies on basic attacks for damage, or as a pure off-field buff stick for an ATK-scaling main DPS. Characters that rarely use basic attacks gain less from the on-field half, so the Arc is weaker on burst-only or skill-spam units.
Extra copies for refinement
Up to four additional copies can be obtained from the Arc Shop by spending 25 Tri-Keys per copy. Open the Mall, navigate to the Arc Shop, then choose Arc Selection to find Blow Up the Crowd alongside other free S-rank Arcs such as Day Off, Tears Beneath the Mask, and Reality Refuge. Stacking copies raises the Arc to S5 for the maximum buff values listed above.

For most accounts, Blow Up the Crowd is one of the earliest free S-rank Arcs you can secure, and the Beat King fight remains accessible without major story progression. Clearing the Rhythm Master commission once locks in the base copy, and the Arc Shop covers the rest of the path to S5.
