Blox Fruits: How to Farm Magnet Tokens Fast During the Magnet Event

An hourly 10-minute window, a planned island route, and roughly 23 magnetic kills gets you one gacha roll.

An hourly 10-minute window, a planned island route, and roughly 23 magnetic kills gets you one gacha roll.

Magnet Tokens only exist inside one narrow window in Blox Fruits, and that window closes fast. The Magnet Event fires at the top of every hour, drops a set number of magnetic enemies across the islands, and then ends. Every token you bank comes from those enemies, so the whole thing is a routing problem more than a combat problem.

Quick answer: When the sky changes at the start of the hour, teleport straight to the weakest enemy group on your first island, kill only the enemies with blue auras and magnetic hands (about 22 tokens each), and move to the next island the moment they are down. Roughly 23 magnetic kills inside the 10-minute window covers the 500 tokens one Summer Magnet Gacha roll costs.

Magnet Event timing and rules

The event runs on a fixed hourly cycle. It begins at the start of every hour, the sky visibly changes, and magnetic enemies appear across the map. It lasts exactly 10 minutes, then everything reverts to normal spawns.

The most important rule is the one that decides your route. A magnetic enemy that dies during the event does not come back. It is replaced by a standard spawn, so any island you have already cleared is finished for that hour. There is no reason to circle back.

How to identify magnetic enemies and where they spawn

Magnetic enemies are easy to pick out once you know the tell. They glow with a blue aura and carry oversized magnetic hands. Normal NPCs standing next to them look completely plain, and killing those normal NPCs pays nothing toward your token count.

Their difficulty scales with your damage, so a high-level character does not get free kills. What you do get is speed, and speed is the only thing that matters inside a 10-minute timer. On each island, magnetic enemies tend to appear around the weakest enemy groups rather than near the strongest ones, so head to the low-level farming spots first.

The island-hopping route that hits 500 tokens

Build your route before the hour flips. Pick a chain of islands you can reach quickly and note where the weakest enemy group sits on each one. Doing this during the event burns minutes you cannot get back.
Set up fast travel. Portal fruit works, and so does island teleportation once you have those destinations unlocked. Sailing between islands is the single biggest waste of the 10 minutes.

The second the sky changes, jump to the first island on your list. Do not stop to check the gacha, sell anything, or clear regular mobs on the way.
Kill every blue-aura enemy on that island. Grouping nearby ones together with wide attacks saves several seconds per cluster, which adds up over a full route.

Move on immediately. Once the magnetic enemies on an island are gone, the island is dead weight for the rest of the event, no matter how many normal spawns are still walking around.
Repeat until the 10 minutes are up. Use a combat setup you already know well. This is not the moment to test an unfamiliar fruit or fighting style.

Tip: 500 tokens works out to about 23 magnetic kills. Counting kills instead of watching the token number is an easier way to track whether your route is on pace.

Where to spend Magnet Tokens: The Summer Magnet Gacha

Tokens are spent at the Summer Magnet Gacha, run by an NPC named Zioles in Middle Town. The area is a safe zone with PvP disabled, so nobody can jump you mid-roll. Go there after the event ends, never during it.

Gacha detailWhat to expect
Cost per roll500 Magnet Token
Cooldown2 hours between rolls
Fruit rewardsAny Physical Fruit
Fruit skins2 total, including Runic Fiend and Arcsteel Magnet
Summer Accessories10 total
Profile Backgrounds20 total

The two-hour cooldown is the real ceiling here. One strong event covers a roll, and a second event in the same window banks tokens for later rather than unlocking anything extra. If your goal is the Chromatic Gacha Box contents, treat every hour as banking and roll whenever the timer clears.

Why your token count comes up short

If you finish an event well under 500 tokens, the cause is almost always one of a short list of mistakes rather than bad luck.

  • Joining late. Minutes lost at the start cannot be made up inside a fixed 10-minute window.
  • Killing normal enemies. Only blue-aura magnetic enemies pay tokens.
  • Sailing between islands instead of teleporting.
  • Staying on a cleared island waiting for respawns that never come.
  • Visiting Zioles mid-event instead of after it ends.
  • Searching high-level spawn areas first when magnetic enemies favor the weakest groups.

You can confirm the event is live by the sky change and the appearance of magnetic enemies, and confirm a kill counted by the token payout that lands right after it. Once you clear 500, the gacha roll at Zioles becomes available and the two-hour cooldown starts ticking from there.
