In Blox Monsters, a bloodline is a permanent passive buff tied to your character. Each bloodline carries its own set of stat boosts that scale with how rare it is, so the harder a bloodline is to roll, the stronger its perks tend to be. There are 16 bloodlines in the game right now, and you obtain them by rolling.
Quick answer: Roll for a bloodline to lock in a passive buff. Common bloodlines like Blizzardy, Dreadspike, Stormwing, and Cranesey each land at a 20.08% chance, while the rarest, Exile Celestial and Shadow Claw, sit at just 0.13% each.
How bloodlines work in Blox Monsters
Bloodlines are passive. Once you have one, its buff applies automatically without any activation. The stats they boost include movement speed, catch chance, rank luck, mutation chance, hatch time, and dispatch luck. Higher-rarity bloodlines often stack two stats and add a perk on top.
The rarity tiers map directly to roll odds. Common bloodlines appear at 20.08%, the next tier at 3.76%, then 1.63%, followed by 0.38%, and the rarest at 0.13%. The lower the percentage, the more impactful the buff you get.

Best bloodlines to chase
If you want the strongest passive overall, Exile Celestial is the standout. It combines +200% Rank Luck and 2x Mutation Chance with a perk that adds +150% Dispatch Luck and doubles dispatch rewards, all at a 0.13% roll chance.
Shadow Claw shares that same 0.13% rarity and leans toward catching. It grants 2x Catch Chance and 2x Mutation Luck, plus a perk that keeps your Dungeon Perk above rare. For hatching, Sealed Calamity cuts hatch time by 25% and adds a 20% chance for a mutated pet, while Serpent Deity reduces hatch time by 15% with a shot at a Legendary trait.
The four common bloodlines at 20.08% are the ones you will see most often. Dreadspike and Cranesey are the more useful of that group thanks to their perks, since Blizzardy and Stormwing only provide a single stat. Note that a bloodline cannot be improved once rolled, so re-rolling is the only way to move up to a rarer tier.
