The Arkifane Emerges is the opening stretch of Boltgun 2, split across the Shattered Station and Dauntless missions. It doubles as the game’s tutorial, but both levels still hide collectibles that count toward the Pathfinder trophy and achievement. Every mission holds one Purity Seal plus a set of secrets, and a few are sealed behind walls or switches you have to shoot.
Quick answer: Shattered Station has 2 secrets and 1 Purity Seal; Dauntless has 5 secrets and 1 Purity Seal. Each one triggers a “SECRET DISCOVERED” or “YOU DISCOVERED A PURITY SEAL!” prompt when collected.
Shattered Station collectibles
This is the shorter of the two missions and functions as the game’s introduction. All three items sit just off the main route, and two of them need a shot to open up.

Secret 1: Emperor’s Visage
After a drop pod smashes through the roof, make your way to the chamber adjoining the one guarded by the locked red gate. Use the wrecked catwalks to reach it. Before exiting through its doorway, drop a bomb onto the cultists underneath, then find the route that leads to the Emperor’s Visage pickup.
Emperor’s Visage replenishes Faith to its maximum and pushes it into overcharge, just as Contempt did in the original Boltgun. Pick it up as you enter, because certain areas may shut off access behind you.
Purity Seal: Shoot the cracked wall
Once you have your Boltgun, keep moving through the next hallway and clear out the cultists. Step into the room on your left, then fire at the left wall. The panel breaks open to reveal a small chamber with the Purity Seal inside, which also nets you extra Boltgun ammo.
Secret 2: Machine Spirit
Push on until you hit the Purge event. Wipe out every enemy, then look along the upper walls for a pad you can shoot. Blasting it opens the door beneath it, and inside is a Machine Spirit.
A Machine Spirit makes a weapon considerably stronger for the rest of the mission. The boost only applies to whatever weapon you were holding when you picked it up, so switch to your preferred gun first.
Dauntless collectibles
Dauntless is noticeably longer, with five secrets and a single Purity Seal spread across its outdoor platforms and the citadel at the end. Two of the secrets are near-identical cargo-container grabs, while the last one depends on how you fight a boss.

Secret 1: Machine Spirit by the first red key
Advance until you reach the first red key. From where the key sits, look to your right to spot a ledge that leads into a small alley. Follow it to find a Machine Spirit that upgrades your currently equipped weapon for the whole level.
Secret 2: Grenade Boost behind the Chaos symbol
Starting from that same red key, follow the main route to the gap and raise the platform to cross it. Defeat the heretics, then find the wall marked with a white Chaos symbol on the far side. Interact with it to lift the wall and open a route to a Grenade Boost.
Secret 3: Emperor’s Visage in the elevator container
In the next area, take the elevator at the path’s end. When it stops, turn left to find an open storage container holding an Emperor’s Visage pickup.
Secret 4: Feel No Pain in the second container
This one mirrors the previous grab. After you take the key from the nearby Chaos warband, activate the elevator and check for another container on your left. Inside is a Feel No Pain pickup, which cancels your next death.
Purity Seal: Drop from the citadel ledge
The Purity Seal appears once you open the citadel. Go in through the main gate and move to either ledge, then drop onto the platform below to claim it.
Secret 5: Vengeance Boltgun magazine in the arena
The final secret is inside the citadel arena. When you enter the large hall, cultists attack and a Forgefiend rises from the elevator in the middle. Shortly after the Forgefiend shows up, Chaos Terminators deep strike into the field and the arena’s side doors open. Head into the door to the left of the main entrance to collect the last secret.
The door only opens after the Chaos Terminators arrive, and they will not spawn if you kill the Forgefiend too fast. Hold off on finishing the boss until the Terminators drop in.
Confirming your clear
Each pickup confirms itself on screen the moment you touch it. Secrets flash a “SECRET DISCOVERED” message and bump your secrets counter, while the Purity Seal shows “YOU DISCOVERED A PURITY SEAL!” and awards Boltgun ammo. With Shattered Station reading 3/3 and Dauntless reading 6/6, the opening two missions are fully cleared and your Pathfinder progress moves forward.
