Borderlands 4: Digi-Gauntlet M3_Final_v5 Walkthrough (Full Quest)

Every objective for the Providence Island quest, from the crane shortcut to deleting Reyes inside Digi-Space.

Every objective for the Providence Island quest, from the crane shortcut to deleting Reyes inside Digi-Space.

Digi-Gauntlet: M3_Final_v5 is one of the gauntlet hunts on Providence Island, and it is mostly a straight fight through a Tediore shipping facility with one movement puzzle bolted onto the middle. The wrinkle is the elevator to the control tower, which is dead by the time you reach it. If you know that going in, the whole run is a clean push from the terminal to the boss.

Quick answer: Accept the quest at the terminal on Providence Island, clear Tediore Receiving & Transit A, shoot the crane pulley to ride the cargo up when the elevator fails, take the dead manager’s hand in the control room to open the Digi-Space Gateway, delete Logistics Manager Reyes’ source code, then return to The Upper Crust and place the gauntlet where Mr. Chew leads you.

Clearing Tediore Receiving & Transit A

Interact with the terminal on Providence Island to accept the quest. The waypoint immediately points at the control tower, and the route there runs straight through the Tediore receiving yard.
Push into Tediore Receiving & Transit A and wipe out the Tediore presence. This first pocket mixes infantry with mechs, so keep moving between cargo stacks rather than holding one corner.
Head for the elevator once the area is quiet. The prompt to call the control tower elevator appears, but the car never arrives, and the tracker flips to “Find another way to the tower.”

Crane shortcut: How to reach the tower with the elevator down

Turn back toward the loading platform and look up at the crane holding a cargo container. The pulley holding that load is the interactive part, not the crane arm itself.
Shoot the pulley to drop the cargo. The objective updates to “Drop down the crane cargo” once the platform falls into reach.
Jump onto the container while it is moving and ride it up to the next level. From there you can walk into Tediore Platform B and continue toward the tower on foot.

Note: if you miss the jump, the cargo keeps travelling on its loop, so you can simply wait for it to come back around instead of restarting anything.

Second Tediore wave in Transit B

Tediore Receiving & Transit B throws a noticeably larger defence force at you than the first yard, and the “Remove Tediore presence” counter will not close until every spawn is dead. Supervisors show up alongside the standard troops, and they hit harder than anything in the opening fight.

Fight it as a wave arena. Use the upper walkways for angles, drop back down when shields break, and keep an eye on your ammo, because this stretch runs long enough that a dry magazine at the wrong moment is what usually puts you into Fight For Your Life.

Control room: Taking the manager’s hand and opening the gateway

Enter the control room at the top of the facility. The Logistics and Shipping Manager you were sent to find is already dead, so there is no conversation to trigger here.
Take the manager’s hand from the body. The gauntlet is locked to their biometrics, which is why the objective asks for the hand rather than just the device.
Insert the Digi-Gauntlet at the console to power up the Digi-Space Gateway, then interact with the gateway to be pulled inside.

Digi-Space: Deleting Logistics Manager Reyes’ source code

Digi-Space swaps the shipping yard for a digital platforming arena. The first part is pure traversal, with the tracker asking you to find Reyes’ source code while you work across floating platforms and through the Vinechoked Canopy section.

Once you reach the arena, the digitised Logistics Manager Reyes spawns and the objective changes to deleting his source code. Treat him like a standard mobile boss. Keep circling, break line of sight behind the platform geometry when he winds up, and reload in cover instead of mid-exchange.

Dropping his health bar deletes the source code and unlocks the gauntlet data you came for. The objective then becomes “Leave Digi-Space,” which returns you to the control room in the real world.

Turning in at The Upper Crust with Mr. Chew

Fast travel back to The Upper Crust. There is nothing left to collect in the transit facility, so there is no reason to walk it.
Follow Mr. Chew when the objective appears. He leads you to the spot where the collected gauntlets are stored.
Place the Digi-Gauntlet at the marked spot. The quest closes out with the completion banner on screen, and the gauntlet shows up in the collection with the others you have gathered for Throwing Down the Digi-Gauntlet.

Why the quest stalls

Three things account for almost every stuck run here. Each one has a fix that takes seconds once you know what the game is waiting on.

  • The elevator never responds. That is intentional, not a bug. The objective only advances after you shoot the crane pulley and ride the cargo up.
  • The door out of a transit area stays shut. A Tediore enemy is still alive somewhere in the arena, often on an upper catwalk.
  • The gateway will not activate. You need the manager’s hand first, then the gauntlet inserted at the console, in that order.

Run cleanly, the whole thing is a sub-20-minute detour, and the only part worth slowing down for is the second transit wave. Everything else is signposted by the tracker, right up to the moment Mr. Chew walks you to the pot.
