Bug Evolution Events Schedule: Giant Mosquito Countdown and What’s Next

Updated October 28, 2026 By AllThingsHow Staff 6,600 playing now

Bug Evolution has three new updates lined up for November, and the one players are most eager for is the Giant Mosquito drop, a wave of new enemies set to go live in early November. Behind it on the calendar are a desert sandworm boss fight and an all-new underground cave map later in the month.

The game, built by Corgi Crew, casts you as a spider that eats, grows, and evolves into steadily tougher bugs. It has climbed past a million total visits — about 1,100,000 and counting — carries about 7,200 favorites, and is holding around about 6,600 players in-game as of October 28.

Below is Bug Evolution’s full event schedule with exact start times, followed by a closer look at what each update brings.

Current and upcoming events

All three events are still ahead, spaced across November. Here’s what each one adds, in the order they arrive.

Giant Mosquito: new enemies

The Giant Mosquito update is the nearest event and comfortably the biggest draw, with about 110,000 players already marked as interested — more than the other two updates combined. The developer is teasing it as a fresh wave of enemies, led by the giant mosquito itself. It starts on November 4 at 7:40 PM ET (6:40 PM CT, 4:40 PM PT; 00:40 UTC on November 5), and its featured window runs for about six hours.

New Boss: the desert sandworm

Next up is a boss event built around a desert sandworm. Interest sits well below the mosquito update’s at about 22,000 players, but it’s still the second-largest item on the slate. It begins on November 9 at 12:45 AM ET (November 8 at 9:45 PM PT; 05:45 UTC on November 9), with a window of roughly seven hours.

Underground Caves: a new map

Rounding out the month is a new-map event that opens up a set of underground caves. It’s the smallest of the three by interest so far, with about 9,000 players signed on. It’s scheduled for November 19 at 12:45 AM ET (05:45 UTC), and its window is short — about an hour — so it reads more like a timed unveiling than a lengthy event.

Taken together, the three dates show Corgi Crew front-loading November with new content: enemies first, a boss a few days later, and a new area to explore by the middle of the month. The developer has also said more bugs are on the way, so the schedule above is worth checking back on.
