Build a Base and Steal: Codes and Base Tips (Roblox)

Whether any codes work right now, how stealing and defending pets work, and what the next update brings.

Whether any codes work right now, how stealing and defending pets work, and what the next update brings.

Build a Base and Steal is a Roblox tycoon where you roll for rare pets, wall them off inside a base, and break into other players’ bases to take theirs. Money keeps building even when you are offline, so the loop rewards both defense and offense. Here is where codes stand and how the core stealing and protection systems work.

Quick answer: There are no working Build a Base and Steal codes right now. The game does not yet have a code redemption menu, so no code can be entered until the developer adds one.

Build a Base and Steal codes status

No codes are active. The experience currently ships without a codes menu, which means there is nowhere in the interface to type a reward code even if one existed. Any list claiming to have live codes for this game is not accurate at this time.

You will know codes have arrived when a redemption field appears in the game’s menus, usually as a text box with an “Enter Code” or “Redeem” button. Until that box shows up, there is nothing to claim. Check back after major updates, since developers commonly add codes alongside new content.

How the core loop works

The game runs on four connected actions. You roll for pets, build defenses to keep them, use gear to break into rival bases, and steal pets while guarding your own. Passive income continues the whole time, including while you are away, so returning to the game gives you funds to reinvest.

ActionWhat it does
RollPulls rare pets you collect and defend.
BuildPlaces walls and structures to protect your pets.
Use gearDestroys defenses so you can enter other bases.
StealTakes pets from other players’ bases.

Stealing pets fast

Stealing depends on getting past another player’s defenses. Gear is your entry tool, and you use it to destroy blocks and structures until you reach the pets inside. The faster you can break through a wall, the sooner you can grab a pet before the owner reacts.

  • Target bases with weaker or unfinished walls, since they take less gear to breach.
  • Head straight for the pets rather than clearing an entire base.
  • Reinvest passive income into better gear, so break-ins go quicker.

Protecting your base and pets

Defense is the other half of the game. Build layers of protection around your best pets so raiders need more time and gear to reach them. A deeper, well-walled base buys you the seconds needed to spot a theft attempt and respond.

If you want to skip raids entirely, start a private server. That keeps other players out and lets you roll, build, and grow without anyone stealing your pets. Servers here hold up to six players, so a public lobby can get crowded and competitive quickly.

Next update and event

A new update and in-game event is scheduled for Saturday, July 25 at 2:30 PM. You can turn on the “Notify Me” option on the game’s event listing so Roblox alerts you when it goes live. New content windows are also the most likely moment for a codes menu to appear, so it is worth checking the menus after the update lands.

For now, the practical plan is simple. Keep rolling for pets, wall them off, spend your passive income on gear for faster break-ins, and use a private server whenever you want to grow undisturbed. Codes will only matter once the redemption menu goes live, so build your base in the meantime.
