Pets in Build a Ring Farm come from eggs, and each egg pulls from its own pool of animals with set rarities and bonuses. The fastest way to grow your collection is to know which egg leads to which pet, what each one costs, and how the hatching roll actually works.
Every egg in Build a Ring Farm and how to get it
Eggs split into two buying tracks. Cash eggs come from the Egg Merchant and refresh on a timer you can watch above the stall. The Dinosaur Egg is a Robux purchase sold through the in-game store as a limited offer.
Here is each egg, its price, and where to find it.
| Egg | Cost / source | Obtainable |
|---|---|---|
![]() | $25M cash · Egg Merchant | Yes |
| Uncommon Egg | Cash · Egg Merchant | Yes |
![]() | $25B cash · Egg Merchant | Yes |
![]() | $10T cash · Egg Merchant | Yes |
![]() | 199 Robux · in-game store (until June 7, 2026) | Yes |
The Egg Merchant sits along the outer ring of the garden. You can spend in-game cash to unlock extra slots at the stall, which opens up more egg types to buy. Stock rotates on a timer, so the Epic Egg may not always be on the shelf at the moment you check.

How to buy and hatch an egg
Cash eggs and Robux eggs reach the same result through slightly different menus. The cash route happens right at the stall, while Robux eggs go through your inventory.
Step 1: Walk up to the Egg Merchant and pick the egg you want. The cost shows on the stall, along with the refresh timer.
Step 2: Confirm the purchase. The egg immediately cycles through a list of animals before stopping on the one you receive, and that pet is yours.
Step 3: For a Robux egg like the Dinosaur Egg, buy it from the store, then use the egg from your inventory. A spinning roulette appears and lands on a random pet from that egg's pool.

You know the hatch worked when the pet drops into your collection and can be placed on the farm. Keep in mind there is a cap on how many pets sit in your garden at once. You can raise that cap with the matching upgrade once you can afford it.
Every pet, rarity, and trait by egg
Each egg feeds a fixed list of pets, and rarer pets show up far less often. The Dinosaur Egg is the only source for the dinosaur lineup, and its odds range from the common Gallimimus down to the rare T-Rex pull.
| Pet | Rarity / source | Trait |
|---|---|---|
| Capybara | Common · Common Egg | Increases seed luck by 1.1x |

![]() | Prismatic · Dinosaur Egg (2.5%) | Provides a 5-minute time skip every 889s |
The Mammoth specifically only comes from the Epic Egg, which is why its tier is high and its drop is not guaranteed. Since the Epic Egg costs $10T per pull, it pays to bank enough cash to try multiple openings rather than rely on a single roll.
Limited-time pets sold outside the egg pools
A few pets skip the egg roll entirely and sell directly as offers. The Kitsune comes from the Kitsune Pack priced at $150K during its limited window, while the Starfall Griffin appears as a stand along the central garden path and is bought outright as a limited-time purchase.

Check a pet's perk before you place it
Click any pet to open its info box. It shows the name, rarity, level, the active perk, and the earnings boost it provides while equipped. Use this to decide which pets earn a spot in a limited garden, since the mutation-upgraders and full-grow pets push crop value far more than the basic luck and yield perks.
You can also spend in-game cash to level up a pet, which strengthens its effect. Pair that with the egg odds above and you can target the exact pets that match how you want to grow, whether that is faster harvests, better mutations, or higher overall earnings.
